If you live in the US, the Warner Archive is offering a free stream of The Bowery Boys Meet the Monsters through Friday night at 11:59 p.m. This should make it even easier to watch:

I've surprisingly had no power outages or equipment failures the entire month, although the day's still young.
That said, I'll take my chances with the probably even lower budget Lon Chaney-looking clown movie anthology.
Best season yet.

Looks like I have enough room to squeeze in another horror film after The Untold Story. Think I'm going to go with a rewatch of Blair Witch Project - I haven't seen it in over 10 years and I was only a kid at the time. Will be like a brand new film.

Two areas ripe for "real-ising" or parodying struck me watching Scre4m. I forget one (it'll come to me), but the other is that the killer really ought to sometimes fail to escape. Get seen, get stuck at the door, take a wrong turn, get shot early... surely that ought to happen sooner or later with all the cunning sneaking around..?!
Oh, I remembered the other. Shouldn't there be some sort of repercussion (psychological, if not legal) for the 'hero' who by the end of each film has killed several people. Usually in direct self-defense, always with some modicum of validity, but sometimes also under slightly dubious circumstances: shot-to-kill rather than wound, shot when already down/immobilised, etc.
Shouldn't the hero get in trouble sometimes...?

Hah! Good for me - I "lucked" into watching the 'worst' first, so it should be all uphill from now. If I ever watch any more of them..
Nuts.

I had to check to see how you solved the 1890-1910 checklist problem of having almost no/few actual movies made during those decades, I agree it's sort of a non-checklist item because you can watch whatever shot 10 minute or less "movie" exists from that time and call it a day. Although I appreciate the historical context I really dislike that early decade checklist items because there's scarcely any content.

Haha :P H2O was a pretty standard teen slasher but was more entertaining than the others (and that only got a 6/10 aka 'ok' rating from me). I liked Halloween III not as a sequel, but I think it's a decent stand-alone film. The first and second are just meh, I think they lack in tension and action, so don't work that well for me. 4,5,6 and 8 were just bad.

The only bad thing about Halloween 3 is the name. Although from the sound of things in this and other recent threads, it sounds like it might finally be getting a little bit of the respect it deserves. I personally think it's right up there with all the other classic horror movies from that era...including the original Halloween.
