In fairness, I only just sent a PM to pagefrance so if he or she has already quit following this discussion thread, hopefully that takes care of the matter. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO GIVE AWAY PRIZES?!

Been there, man. Heck, with a couple of mine, there was no chance of anyone already having the prizes, and I still had to make multiple picks.

I finally had an easy giveaway last Nov., so sometimes it does work out the first time.

And maybe acubfaninmd won't pick the one I already own.

I agree, the randomizer was a flop this time. It was a great set of prizes, I would have been all over every one of them. Maybe next time have those that are interested send a quick note before the drawing.

Remember 23 days ago when there was some praise for how quickly I had awarded prizes? Such an innocent time, that. I'm sure it seems more obvious and easier to orchestrate from the outside than it actually is. Hosting a challenge ain't all that bad as long as everyone plays nice, but hosting a challenge with prizes is a complete hassle.

Speaking of which, acubfaninmd has claimed Get Smart: The Complete Series and pagefrance finally responded to me more than a week later. If Dimension X passes on Sandburg's Lincoln, then pagefrance gets that. And once I know that, I'll turn in the final order list to Rich and get these prizes shipped out to y'all.

Get Smart was the remaining prize that I already had. I'd happily accept Sandburg's Lincoln, but since pagefrance was picked earlier, I'll step aside and let him/her have it instead. Go ahead and send everything on to GoldenWheels and shut the book on this one.
