So has this thread become the Sterling Ben stream-of-consciousness pageant?

Padding post counts for Chad's end stats perhaps.

I think Sterling meant to sign on to Twitter and signed onto DVDTalk instead

Per Chad's suggestion, I actually took a day off yesterday, did a little computer gaming and just listened to music. No movies at all yesterday. Might get in one or two tonight, but don't know yet. A friend asked me about the Beetlejuice cartoon. Would that count for the challenge?

Needless to say, I've kind of been preoccupied with other things. It's a shame too, since this was pretty important to us; a month of us watching horror movies together culminating in our wedding anniversary on Halloween. Now, I just don't know. If I feel like watching anything this month, it'll be a horror movie and I'll put it on my list, but I don't think it'll be very often at the moment.
What can I say that hasn't already been said by everyone here? I am deeply sorry to hear your news. Just be sure to make the most out of every day together. And like many have said, if you ever need to just vent we are always here to listen. God bless.

I'm not sure if any of that was actually a thank you. As bad as the movie was, it kept me relatively entertained.

I hear ya on that. I've had an annoying head/chest cold and working a lot of hours so I have been catching bits and pieces of movies/shows in the evening. I may not be "actively participating" in the literal sense, but I feel like I am still part of the challenge as a whole by watching even a little bit and by reading everyone's posts (usually while on break at work).

I don't like that; where my movie watching is reduced to blindly cramming movies in to hit a huge number. I like my movie watching to be fun for me, especially the movie watching I do for my beloved horror month, which is my favorite month of the year. I've only gotten 36 movies so far this month, but all but one were first-time viewings and most of them were movies I really liked, so even if I don't hit 100 I'll be glad I got to see the movies I saw.
That's why my goal is usually to watch "one horror/Halloween themed program per day", regardless of length. If I get in more, even better. But I will never force myself to stay awake/keep watching just for the sake of the challenge. I would only do that if I am so engrossed in the movie that I just HAVE to stay up.

Taking a few hours off to watch game 5 of O's/Yanks. Going to return with a couple viewings before bed. I'm helping a friend move (only down the street essentially) in the morning and even though it should be a quick one it'll certainly get me in the mood to sit around and watch movies with some beers after that.

Wow... I'll have to check out Bloody Moon as a guide to understanding this thread.

Here are some other lego movie homages including The Exorcist, The Shining, and Psycho.

I don't remember post count being part of Chad's end stats. That would be pretty detailed.

I counted it as such last year and am depending on Joe Bob Briggs Blood Sisters commentary this year.

Gohastings.com has a sale just today with 25% off most used or previously viewed items including free shipping. It's iffy that anyone will find a quality steal but there's lots of "cheaper than you can rent" fodder to take a chance on.

Edit: Use coupon code "250k"
