So has this thread become the Sterling Ben stream-of-consciousness pageant?

Per Chad's suggestion, I actually took a day off yesterday, did a little computer gaming and just listened to music. No movies at all yesterday. Might get in one or two tonight, but don't know yet. A friend asked me about the Beetlejuice cartoon. Would that count for the challenge?

I think I've lost my passion for the challenge for this year. My wife got some bad news regarding her cancer last week, the kind where you have to plan for what your life may be like in six months or so taking care of your three-year old alone. Needless to say, I've kind of been preoccupied with other things. It's a shame too, since this was pretty important to us; a month of us watching horror movies together culminating in our wedding anniversary on Halloween. Now, I just don't know. If I feel like watching anything this month, it'll be a horror movie and I'll put it on my list, but I don't think it'll be very often at the moment.

The mannequin cracked me up! That was the moment I realized Jess Franco either had a lot of guts or simply didn't care at all. Whatever the answer to that question is, I respected something this is awesomely bad.
I'm not sure if any of that was actually a thank you. As bad as the movie was, it kept me relatively entertained.

One year I actually hit 222 movies, but honestly, that whole month is a blur and I barely remember the movies I watched then. I've re-watched some of them in later years and only vaguely remembered one scene at the most. I don't like that; where my movie watching is reduced to blindly cramming movies in to hit a huge number. I like my movie watching to be fun for me, especially the movie watching I do for my beloved horror month, which is my favorite month of the year. I've only gotten 36 movies so far this month, but all but one were first-time viewings and most of them were movies I really liked, so even if I don't hit 100 I'll be glad I got to see the movies I saw.

Taking a few hours off to watch game 5 of O's/Yanks. Going to return with a couple viewings before bed. I'm helping a friend move (only down the street essentially) in the morning and even though it should be a quick one it'll certainly get me in the mood to sit around and watch movies with some beers after that.

Wow... I'll have to check out Bloody Moon as a guide to understanding this thread.
Here are some other lego movie homages including The Exorcist, The Shining, and Psycho.
I don't remember post count being part of Chad's end stats. That would be pretty detailed.I counted it as such last year and am depending on Joe Bob Briggs Blood Sisters commentary this year.

Gohastings.com has a sale just today with 25% off most used or previously viewed items including free shipping. It's iffy that anyone will find a quality steal but there's lots of "cheaper than you can rent" fodder to take a chance on.
