I think there's a better chance they'd collect all the ultimate discs/features than the complete ultimate editions with the cards and such

I've been waiting for that. The Dec 29th deadline means it's unlikely to happen now (no preorder for this on amazon.com) so I am going to have to fork money over for the ultimate editions now if I want them, and I really wanted to wait for a time.

I hate Warner Brothers these days.

I plan to get the UK complete set in Dec at a very nice price then wait a year or two when/if the price on the "Ultimate Set" comes down.

Re: Studio pulling Harry Potter discs from stores December 29

Just picked up the WS single-disc versions of all but Deathly Hallows, Part 2 for $3.96 ea. at WalMart, I hope they don't discontinue DH, Part 2 until they've had a chance to discount it as well. I purposely waited until I could pick these up for cheap, I don't want to have to pay much (if any) more for the last one before they discontinue them altogether. Sure, I'm a cheap bastard, but my collection cost me a fraction of what it's actually worth. I'd never be able to duplicate what I got most of these for if I had to replace them. -kd5-
