Wow, 59 is the most anyone watched?! That's quite a surprise!
Thanks for running the challenge, Mister Peepers!

^ Yeah, quite a mild Challenge gorging-wise.
Thanks for all the work MP, and the discussions everyone! Had a lot of fun with the checklist. Was experimenting with my list post and it didn't go as smoothly as I planned. I'm going to have to study some of your formatting and get things looking like I want next year.

Woohoo, second place!
Wish I could have made it to 100 entries but I just did not have the time. Thanks Mister Peepers and congrats to the winners and participants alike.

Reminds me of a professor in college that awarded high tech honors and low tech honors on our papers: high tech honors for typed page numbering; and low tech honors for handwritten page numbering. It was the early '90s and I could not figure out page numbering on my roommate's word processor so I earned low tech honors on my paper.

I have to admit, that was a little disappointing to see. On the other hand, there were a bunch of people I didn't recognize, including some that have been here for years and just lurk.
I watched a bunch but would have been happier if I could have squeezed in my last volume of American Dad. I still had a few episodes left to go of volume 5 that I finished off after the challenge.

My problem is that I don't really like to watch movies during the daytime. I prefer later at night, when the ambient noise is different and there are a lot fewer distractions or chances for interruption. Whether this is a holdover from childhood ("You should be outside playing while it's daytime!") or a psychological association with theaters being dark, I don't know. Being in August, of course, day lasts longer and it's just less likely that I'll be in the mood to watch a movie. Plus, there were several my wife wanted to watch with me and her schedule was typically hectic so I kept putting of movies to watch with her that wound up going unseen during the challenge. C'est la vie.
I still got around to seeing several things I hadn't seen before and I enjoyed participating. I'd say I'm looking forward to next year's challenge, but right now I'm content to be in on the Criterion challenge, with Horror looming around the bend.

I'm the opposite. With no kids or wife around for the month, I usually end up going to bed earlier than normal and watch whatever is on. If it's animation, then I have to try and remember the next morning that I watched something and I know there's at least a few nights I didn't keep track of.

PM sent with my address. Wish I could have done better, but things just seem to come up. Thanks for a fun challenge MP.

Yeah, I just wasn't feeling keeping track this challenge. Often I'd get home after work, watch a bunch, and just not keep track of it and then I'd forget what all I watched and when. Like I said though, I watched a ton and had a lot of fun, but maybe next time I can pre-number in advance and make it more "fill in the blank"than tallying.
