This is coming out in Sept. Figured it might appeal to the group here.

If that's the case then I say just replace the song. I hate when they have to do that and it doesn't change that discs have already been pressed, but I've had enough of this crap where musicians are fucking up releases. They could have made something off of season 3 and instead they're making nothing and screwing over Pete And Pete fans.

I can't believe they are pressed and literally sitting there. They need to get a Kickstarter together or something. Seriously... 1 song is holding it back? This is ridiculous.

well that was five years or so ago, so I suspect they've been destroyed and written off by now.

Received my final Hey Dude release from Shout! today.

Re: Nickelodeon/Shout! Factory Releases

I'm done buying these separate releases. Why? Because they just keep releasing complete series after the fact, or in the case of both Rocko and Aaahhh!! Real Monsters they release the complete series before the last season is even released. I understand that buying the seasons fuels Shout to release more, but seriously, they should just release the whole series on the day of season 1 like they've done for shows (i.e. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Beetlejuice, Jem, etc.).

For those who held off buying the complete Rocko set, you're in luck....
...and now the score is:

Wild Thornberrys: Season 4
Rocko's Modern Life: COMPLETE!
Hey Dude: COMPLETE!
Hey Arnold!: COMPLETE!
Angry Beavers: COMPLETE! (need individual release of Season 4)
Danny Phantom: Season 3
AAAHH!!! Real Monsters: COMPLETE! (need individual release of Season 4)
CatDog: COMPLETE!

Re: Nickelodeon/Shout! Factory Releases

Kudos to Shout! for finishing off Rocko's Modern Life instead of just leaving it at three individual seasons and the complete series. I was one who bought them as they came out, but I got the complete series because it was pretty cheap and came with the signed lithograph. Still, good for them; nice to see that sort of behavior from a company.

Final set for Wild Thornberries: September 10th.

https://www.shoutfactory.com/sites/d...Cover72dpi.jpg

The only thing left is Season 3 of Danny Phantom, and individual Season 4 releases for Angry Beavers and AAAHH!!! Real Monsters.

These sets have been selling well, haven't they? Shout in the past has never hesitated to discontinue releases of a show that hasn't sold well for them (Captain Planet is a big example). Yet, all but one of the Nick shows has been completed, and a few of them have sold so well that they're getting "complete series" sets.

The Shout-Nickelodeon deal has, by all accounts, been profitable for both companies. So, why hasn't Shout gotten any more classic shows in the three years since the deal was first announced?

I wish they would add more... I'd really like to finish out Clarissa, Alex Mack and Pete & Pete... or get an affordable version of Doug.

The final sets for Wild Thornberrys and Hey Arnold are coming on September 10th and October 15th, respectively.

You never know, maybe Shout is in the process of getting more Nick shows now that they are finishing up their current batch.

Re: Nickelodeon/Shout! Factory Releases

That's what we're all hoping. They're definitely the company to continue doing them justice. Even it's their Shout Select program. But buying through their site... they really need to offer more incentives...discounts...free shipping etc...

Re: Nickelodeon/Shout! Factory Releases

My main concern is that Shout! is too wrapped up in Power Rangers and My Little Pony and their fancy horror movie licenses to bother with more Nickleodeon shows.

That, or Nickelodeon will decide that they don't want to share success with another company.

This is it. After this, the only thing left is individual releases of the final seasons of DP, Angry Beavers and AAAHH!!! Real Monsters.

I agreed, I tweeted to Shout! and they said there's nothing on the horizon, nothing to report. :(

Yeah I actually got my copy today. Forgot about it actually being released then looked on Half.com and got a copy for under $10.

Can't wait to read it.

I went to the panel/book release last Friday at 92Y in NYC. It was pretty great, it was three hours long and about 7 panels. Mark Summers hosted it, but they had EVERYONE and had at least one person from just about every show you can imagine. It was one of the best events I've ever gone to.

I placed an order for these over a year ago. I just got a shipment notification on Volume 1. I thought these would be the seasons in order, but just split up. I guess they are just random episodes? If that's the case I may just return it.

Re: Nickelodeon/Shout! Factory Releases

The last Angry Beavers season will be released on its own as a Shout exclusive.

So, now all that's left are the single releases for the last seasons of Danny Phantom and Real Monsters.

I still need to get the Danny Phantom complete set and all the seasons of the shows that didn't receive complete series sets.

Ross Hull from Are You Afraid of the Dark had something big in the works ... and here it is! A new documentary about just what it MEANS to be ... Afraid of the Dark (or Gary from the show, at least ... 20 years later! What's more frightening? Find out in the new film from Ross!)

The 4th and final season of Real Monsters gets an individual release:

Still need that individual release of Danny Phantom: Season 3.

Just a heads-up: The Amazon MOD release of Rugrats S2 has just been updated, so now all of the first 65 are available. The MSRP is now $20, too (cheaper as of this afternoon, actually).

Hopefully they update Doug S4 as well!
