Re: The PJ's Season 1 - May 3rd!!!!!!
I almost bought a bootleg of the complete series recently. I'm glad I held off. However, I wish that this release was the complete series instead of just the first season.
Season 1: 14 episodes
Season 2: 17 episodes
Season 3: 13 episodes
Season 1: 14 episodes
Season 2: 17 episodes
Season 3: 13 episodes

Look at Family Matters. I would have expected the first season to do well when it came out last year, but it's looking like we won't get anymore releases. Early Edition is another example of a show that never finished it's seasons on DVD.

Isn't TV on DVD down by a lot now though?

I just hope the episodes are unedited and intact/unchanged. I recall the Fox episodes had the "WB" title sequence slapped-on when they were rerun on the WB. Also it appears the end title music is silenced/cut out on the Adult Swim showings of the episodes (that is an assumption since the original end credits were never seen in the network run, as these ran in 'split-screen' versions on the networks. I find it hard to believe the "real" end titles are supposed to be completely silent like they are on Adult Swim).
You'd think they could at least fix the typo on the spine (it's supposed to be PJs, not PJ's! You'd think with the manhole cover on the front key art, their graphics designer would notice! It really irks me when people use apostrophes incorrectly to indicate plural, but it seems to be a widespread thing these days (or, day's...).

AND the MSRP is still $20.
This is how non A-list TVonDVD should be done. License it out to a cut rate company and sell it cheap to get high sales from the "meh why not?" crowd.
Are you listening Fox/King of the Hill?

Glad they're releasing Season 2 so soon after Season 1. Definitely looking forward to finally getting this series on DVD.
Yeah, it amazes me that FOX is just sitting on King Of The Hill. Maybe sales weren't sky-high, but they were high enough to justify 6 seasons worth of releases as well as subsequent repackaging of those seasons. You're telling me they couldn't sell off the distribution rights to another company and at least get some value out of the remaining episodes? I just don't get it...

Pleased to see them continuing this. I was hesitating to pre-order the first season, because I was scared they wouldn't follow up with the others, but this makes me feel confident that they'll follow through with the whole series.

Yup, this is what made me hesitant as well. I may bite now that I know they're more than likely to finish it up.

How I'm just deciding if I should get them ala cart or if there'll be a complete set with a nice slipcase.
