I watched the last one last weekend. Had a decent amount of gore.
I just found a new favorite store for new movies. I was on my way to Wal-Mart to pickup Predators and along the way I stopped by my locally owned video store. I found out they sell blu-rays for $15 each and they put a couple copies of the weekly releases out there too.
Now my wife knows where she's going each Tuesday morning

I've had a productive few days now. Between getting ready to shoot this weekend I've managed to fit in at least one or two movies a day and earlier today my wife and I managed to watch all three Night of the Demons movies and the original House on Haunted Hill. I might be able to get a few more in before Thursday but after that I'm swamped with shooting until Sunday. Here's hoping I can finally update my list come Monday.

I've been slowly updating my list (it's a pain to fall behind on that thing), and came across my favorite review quote ever on IMDB. I just had to include it on my list for that entry. It is for the horrible, horrible, horrible "movie" called, OC Babes and the Slasher of Zombietown.
“An unborn baby with a used teabag in a desert could've produced a better film than this.” – Robert Stone
Well spoken, good Sir. Well spoken indeed.

Just got home from a Matinee of My Soul To Take
The film is so messy it's quite sad.
Only good thing I can say about it is Emily Meade.

After a Mario Bava triple feature Kill Baby... Kill! and especially Shock [aka Beyond the Door II] (which is on Netflix streaming) are among my favorite films of the challenge. Relative to the others I was disappointed by Baron Blood (which was good but not great). This was my first screening of a Mario Bava film and looking forward to checking out others.

I think I've reached that time to bust out Halloween 3 and get really excited on the final stretch to Halloween

Does anyone have a link to the little music video that was made last year by someone... set to the music from Spiderbaby?

I listened to the Suspiria fan commentary (sorry, don't have the link handy, it's a few pages back, or might be on the main post). It was really good. It was pretty calculated, but very very informative. He offered up a lot of different interpretations of the movie as well as his own.
He also details all of the sound track miscues from the "re-master" done by Anchor Bay a while back. I had asked about this earlier. I think it's the same for all the English tracks for the various DVD releases.

I love Halloween 3, people always ragged on it, but if you take it as a stand alone horror film, I think its damn good.

I really like Halloween 3 as well. One of the better films of that franchise.
I just ignore the title, or at least the Michael films, and think of it as an independent horror film.
