The Full Moon and SWV prizes will be going out Monday or Tuesday. I had eye surgery recently, so that slowed me down some. Now I have to wear reading glasses

^Bummer on the glasses front! I started needing them ~10 years ago. It took a while to get used to using them. OK... still getting used to them... it's a real hassle but if you want to read (and I'm a voracious reader) it's a necessary evil. Using them on the computer is probably the worst. Hang in there!

I've had glasses since 3rd grade...

I had cataract surgery in my left eye this month and my right eye last month. The kind I had is normal for senior citizens, or people at least twice my age. He said I was his second youngest patient ever and the one they just pulled out was the largest and softest he's ever done.

The crappiest part is that for whatever reason, people are always more aware during the second surgery. The first thing you feel is a slice across the bottom of your eyeball. The entire time I was picturing the scene from The Beyond, where the tarantula planted it's fangs into someone's eyeball.

Fun stuff!

Not to worry. For some reason I totally cracked up when I was taking off the plastic wrap! But it arrived in perfect condition, no floaters and even the box was undamaged. Maybe you're on to something there.

It was a fun challenge. It is cool that I won something.
