Who Do You Want to Hear a Commentary From and On What Film?
I was thinking about how Spielberg doesn't do commentaries and was wondering is there anybody you'd want to hear a commentary from and on what movie? I'd also like to throw out there it could be anybody dead or alive, obvious nothing nuts like "I want to hear a commentary from Jesus on 'The Passion of the Christ'"... although that WOULD be interesting...
I'd like to hear commentaries from Stallone on Rocky II - V. He's stated that he would like to but who knows if it will ever happen.
If I could pick someone dead to do a commentary I'd love to hear a commentary from Orson Welles on Citizen Kane or Hitchcock on any of his films.

I'd like to hear a Kevin Smith commentary for "Zack And Miri Make A Porno", whenever he is ready and has had enough time and separation from it....
Obviously ANY Spielberg commentary would be welcome....
If we're going the impossible (aka the deceased) route, I'd be fascinated to hear what Michael Jackson would have to say while watching "This Is It"...

See I don't really like commentaries on TV shows. I have a ton of TV shows but don't really like the commentaries. I really enjoy commentaries on movies more.

I love any of Joss Whedon's commentaries done on episodes of Buffy....I would honestly rebuy the whole series if he went back and did commentary (with various guests) on every episode, Simpsons-style...

Keanu Reeves and Lawrence Fishburne - The Matrix movies
Mark Hammil, Peter Mayhew, Harrison Ford, and Kenny Baker - the original Star Wars movies
Ariana Richards, Jeff Goldblum, and Richard Attenburough - Jurassic Park
Michael Keaton - Batman/Batman Returns
and if they had done one when they were alive, I would have loved to hear Walter Mathau and Jack Lemmon do commentaries for the Grumpy Old Men movies

Would love to hear a commentary from Kurt Russell & John Carpenter on Escape from LA and/or Elvis. They just have been so good on their other releases, I would love to hear them poke fun at each other again.

Alive: Martin Scorsese on Taxi Driver. I know it's on the Criterion laserdisc, but I'd love to get it ported to DVD.
Dead: Akira Kurosawa and Toshiro Mifune on just about anything. Red Beard, Seven Samurai, High & Low, you name it.

Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier on Top Gun. Kevin Smith was on KROQ's Kevin and Bean show and his comments on Top Gun and its homosexual undertones were hilarious.
