Fade To Black(1980)?

Anybody know this 1980 movie starring Dennis Christopher(Breaking Away)?. He played a guy who loved the movies. They were his life. He finally snapped and dressed up as Dracula, The Mummy, Hopalong Cassidy, and exacted revenge on his tormentors. Mickey Rourke had a role in it too.

Anchor Bay released it some years ago and it is currently out of print. Virtually impossible to find online too. Does anybody know if AB plans a re-release or if they still hold the rights?.

You can find copies of it on Amazon and is actually a bit cheaper if you get the Drive In Double Feature DVD with Hell Night on the other side. I wouldn't count on AB doing a re-release of this so you may have to hope for Blue Underground, Synapse, Scorpion, etc. to get the rights.

Thanks. I'll go check out Amazon.

That's good 80's double feature and sounds like a good buy.
Thanks.

I loved this movie when I rented it in the early '80s. Really underrated, I'd say.

What's the name of Sidney Greenstreet's club in Casablanca?

Never been able to forget that piece of trivia since first seeing this movie. Has early Mickey Rourke appearance also.

There are a bunch of copies available on Amazon Marketplace BUT pricey and this release is unfortunately non anamorphic so I'll pass until one comes out that is!
