THANK YOU MD2810 for a wonderful job on those inserts. Now we can actually follow what's in these sets. Awesome job!

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

If anyone feels like making a trip to Best Buy today, there IS a blu-ray of Hell in a Cell. It's $24.99 and has the same extras as the DVD as well as the complete episode of Raw from the week before.

Good to know! thanks!

So it's definitely coming out in Canada as well. Probably the same deal with Bragging Rights.

Shame they seem to be going with just RAW on the BDs now, guess I will start getting the PPV ones from the UK since they have Smackdown and RAW.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

I have just found out that in 2011, WWE will be releasing a 3 disc set on the Big Show, that will contain a documentary. Also comfirmed is a new 3 disc Triple H set. Thanks to wwedvdnews.com once again!

Hopefully the Big Show DVD features lots of his comedy wrestler spoofs from 2000. I hope they feature a lot of his WCW stuff as he was quite the mover back then.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Found the new TNA Twin pack of Victory Road/No Surrender out 2 weeks early today at FYE, it was 19.99. I passed on it mainly because there were cut marks on the spine, and also the cover insert looked mangled. I may just order it from ROH anyways so I"ll have it before it's Nov 16 release date, same way I had Hardcore Justice early.

Picked up HIAC dvd today at WM for 15. Gotta pick up Summerslam & HIAC on blu-ray, and I guess I'll crack and buy the SD DVD on blu also....man this money is adding up!

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Can anyone confirm that Best Buy is selling Hell In A Cell 2010 on blu-ray? I checked 3 stores today and not one of them had any copies nor is it on their website.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

I was able to pick up a copy of Hell In A Cell 2010 on blu-ray tonight at Best Buy. It looks like momoney635 was correct in his post. I picked it up for $24.99 and the extras is the complete episode of Raw from the week before. I'm assuming the release is very limited as I went to 3 Best Buy before finding it at the 4th store. Hopefully they'll release Bragging Rights 2010 on blu-ray next even though they don't have it listed on their website either. The next is John Cena, Survivor Series 2010 for Best Buy exclusive.

Two copies of the HIAC Blu-Ray at my local Best Buy. They were over in the Blu section in the Ws and not on a new release rack.

thanks for the info and pic for reference...found one this morning. its certainly irritating that it isnt on their website...i took the upc with me so if i couldnt find it they could check their system... luckily i didnt have to ask anyone, because they likely wouldnt have a clue. the bestbuy sku is 1364993 (item number on the price sticker) if anyone is having trouble finding it.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Found 2 copies at my Best Buy as well, but they were under "H" on the BD shelves, instead of "W" and none of the new release rack. On a side note, it's kind of funny that one of the bonus features is the Orton vs. Y2J match on RAW, and yet thats also on the bonus episode of RAW, lol.

And yes, i understand it's meant for the DVD bonus features, but no need to include it twice.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

It's not actually Pete. It says Orton vs Jericho on the back of the DVD box but it's just the aftermath with Jericho being stretchered out. So actually that footage is not on the bonus Raw episode. Pretty misleading to advertise it like a match, then people find it's like 1minute after the match.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm sure I would've missed out if I wasn't subscribed to this thread. My BB had 2 copies today...1 copy left now...

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

So, Netflix is pretty reliable when it comes to listings....It had the correct listing for the Ricky Steamboat disc before it was announced through Silvervision. So while searching today, I found a listing of matches for the "Top 50 Superstars" DVD:

This disc includes the following bonus materials: "Lou Thesz vs Argentina Rocca," "Jack Brisco vs Dory Funk Jr," "Gorilla Monsoon vs Andre the Giant," "Hulk Hogan vs Iron Sheik" and "Ravishing Rick Rude vs Ricky The Dragon Steamboat."

This disc includes the following bonus materials: "The Rock vs Mankind," "Ric Flair vs Bret Hart," "Eddie Guerrero vs Big Show" and "Edge vs The Undertaker."

If this is true, it is horribly disappointing. Edge/Taker PPVs have all been released...Most of Rock/Mankind has been released....Hogan/Sheik is most likely Hogan's first title win.....Eddie/Big Show is...pretty weak.

The only thing out of that list that is a plus is Bret/Flair....I have been dying to have a copy of Hart's first title win if that is what it would be....It would be even better if it were their Iron Man from Boston Gardens in 1993.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

I would be so happy if it's Bret Hart vs. Flair with Hart's first title win. I've been waiting for WWE to release this match on DVD for a long time. I'm sure it will be that match, but the Boston Garden match from 1993 would also be nice...but what the hell why not include both!

I don't think the Rock/Mankind match from Rock Bottom has been released on DVD (minus the Attitude Collection DVD).

Did Bret have any matches with Flair in WCW?

He sure did. I believe his first match with the company (or at least the first PPV match) was against Flair at Souled Out 1998.

Then perhaps that could be on the DVD? A nice rare WCW match would be a nice addition. And becuase Lou Thesz is in it, the WWE's 50 Greatest Stars could mean WCW/NWA as well.
