Thanks, it's rather surprising they don't send out e-mails letting us know of new releases. I see that the mobile version 1.3 is also out today - it doesn't say if it will work on iPhone though, so I assume that it will not.

Awesome timing. After purchasing it early last week, I finally finished entering the rest of my collection last night. Looking at the release notes it looks much more polished.

They really need to work on an iPhone/Touch app. I'd pay for it.

I thought it runs a lot faster now, especially when updating or uploading my collection. Some cool new features. Check out the release notes on the download page.

BTW - As you get used to the site, you'll learn that if you're going to reference something, a quote or at least a courtesy link would be nice.

Friends list integrated into the Add DVDs interface
Browse your friends' collections - see what they're buying soon, and check out their favorites, or search their entire collection by title. You can show all matches or only those not already in your collection.
Custom collection categories and media types
Create up to ten custom collection categories, with a selectable image and data tracking. Custom collection categories can be stand-alone categories, or sub-categories of your owned collection. Create an unlimited number of custom media types to track, with optional custom images and cover media banners. The online database continues to track DVD, HD DVD and Blu-rays only, but your local database can track whatever media you collect.
Movie Trailers
View trailers for your collection from within DVD Profiler. Submit new trailers links and rate/report the existing links from the same interface.
Remote database access
Optionally share your collection via your local network, or (with the proper network setup), across the Internet. Set passwords for read-access, and for write-access. Keep your collection on one computer and access it from as many clients running DVD Profiler as you like. Use any connected PC to control the others, synchronizing selection on any connected client - great for HTPC setups.
Enhanced thumbnail view with custom backgrounds and effects
Select a custom background image and optionally enable shadow and reflection. Reflection cropping completes the illusion.

Wow, that beta didn't last very long. My favorite new feature is the small albeit useful 'download missing images' in the download portion of the Collection Transfer. It's one less step to deal with when running it on more than one computer.

How is Profiler with exclusives? I used to have to input a bunch of them for DVDSpot, and would prefer to not have to do that every week.

I've been a member here for 7 years, although I don't have as many posts as you do. I post when I feel like it....
I would have posted the release notes as you so graciously did, but I felt it was unnecessary as the OP gave a link to the download page, where...there's a link to the release notes!!! Imagine that!
Have a great day!

As long as it's region 1, you stand a fair chance of the stuff being there. I'll say one thing for the Profiler community, they are some of the most anal-retentive people about their data entry I've ever come across. As such, they are pretty good about tracking the exclusives.

I like Profiler, but I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I understand you have to pay people for their work, but that's a lot of money.
