You're never happy with anything, are you? It's not like there is some commentary exclusive to the BD version either....Warner is giving you what you ask for and constantly complain about, a 2-disc DVD version at near parity with the BD, and yet you still find some reason to hate it....

I really want to buy this movie but I know it's going to be mass produced and easily available a few months after for super cheap... So I think I'm going to hold off.

I'm also confused how you can demand each release to be overflowing with extras to meet your standards, but yet you also say you own over 1000+ titles....there is no way each and every one of the titles in your catalog is as packed with special features as you now expect every new release to be...this Hangover release looks to contain about an average number of special features, so it has to have more than some of the ones you already own....

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm pretty sure in 2011 when "The Second Hangover" comes out Warner will revisit the film on DVD and Blu, but until then this is still better than most films.

Also, the complete listing of extras isn't out yet (DVDActive ad says "and more!"), and even then, as always, you're making an assumption about how substantial the extras are.

This movie in particular would REALLY lend itself to a commentary with actors involved. The commentaries I like most are ones with the comedy cast participating.

/\ I think Todd Phillips mentioned that they, himself along with the cast, had already recorded a commentary on the 'Meet the Filmmakers' podcast.

Perhaps once this is released, I was wondering if anyone could tell me the differences between the theatrical version and unrated version. Don't own a blu ray player yet, and would like to get the unrated, but don't want to spend the extra money if it's only a few seconds difference.
Thanks!
edit: just looked it up, looks like there's an 8 minute difference. Still would like to hear opinions if the 8 minutes is worth it, or just filler. Still kind of upset there's no commentary on even the 2 disc unrated dvd.
