I didn't mean to confuse you. The Walmart DVD and BD are the same. The Bluray runs slightly faster thus the 7 sec loss compared to the DVD. They're identical.

Sorry to keep repeating, but just to clarify...the walmart big screen bluray is identical to content as all other versions but is the way to go because of the imax and features?

Does the Target exclusive have extra features?

Yes, IMAX scenes are unique to the Walmart DVD/BD. As far as I know, bonus features are identical to all other Special Edition releases.

And No, Target exclusive only features the transforming Bulmblebee case and no exclusive features.

Re: Transformers Revenge of the Fallen---Oct 20th

I got the big screen walmart bluray for xmas, got it as a gift when i just wanted money so i could make sure i got the right version, I got the version with the most content and the imax scenes correct? So the fact that the Big screen dvd runs longer isn't important because blurays run faster than dvds and the films are identitical?

Re: Transformers Revenge of the Fallen---Oct 20th

i think the imax version in general is about 30 seconds or so longer, and its mainly single second or so additions to the imax scenes, and when you have a movie that is as rapid fire cutting as Transformers 2 is, 30 shots prob add up to 30 seconds. Also there are minor dialogue changes, mainly in that the Megan Fox character drops the F bomb

Blu-rays do not run faster than DVDs. I don't know where that myth started.

I am really sorry for bringing this up again, so then the versions aren't the same if the SD is 7 seconds longer than the BD

The only person saying that the DVD is 7 seconds longer than the Blu-ray is Dragon Lee, and he seems to be under the impression that Blu-rays just run faster than DVDs in general (which is not true).

I do not believe that there is any difference in run time between the WalMart "Big Screen" DVD and the WalMart "Big Screen" Blu-ray. However, both "Big Screen" editions do run 32 seconds longer than the standard version available at other retailers.

Re: Transformers Revenge of the Fallen---Oct 20th

so I am keeping the 2 disc big screen bluray, thanks!

My only pet peeve is that most dvd cases don't list all the special features, this bluray is no exception

that's where it says there is a 7 second difference, I think its incorrect.

On the Bumblebee and Optimus Prime cases.....are they somewhat flat on the front, or are there pieces that stick out? I was wanting to get them and put on my shelf with the other movies, but I could also leave them on top as action figure type stuff.
