TV on DVD - Survivor question

I've done a quick search, and I haven't found the answer, so apologies if it's in here somewhere already: does anyone know why CBS/Paramount has not released seasons 3-6 (Africa, Marquesas, Thailand, Amazon) of Survivor on DVD yet?

There are alot more than those that have yet to be released... I can't say for sure, but my guess would be that the current sets didn't sell. I am not sure reality tv sells well on DVD. The Amazing Race only got two releases...

It's a shame. The Survivor dvd sets were well done with great extras. The show is quite enjoyable to watch even if you know who the winner is. After they failed to release a set of the highly rated Micronesia, I knew this series was over on dvd.

From what I'm understanding they just didn't sell as many copies as they needed too. I know that with "Amazing Race" as well the first seasons sold okay but future installments sold a mediocre rates.

They tried to peek interest by releasing the all-stars, but those sales while higher than before, still weren't enough to warrant future releases.
