Do you keep track of what you watch?

I've been doing it since about 2001(DVDs and laserdiscs). I do it so I can see where I left off on a certain tv series or its interesting too see how long its been since last viewing a certain movie.

Yep. Or keep track of what I haven't watched but I guess that's the same thing.

Re: Do you keep track of what you watch?

Yup. In my spreadsheet of dvds on Google Docs, I have a column for date watched. That's one of the things I miss most about DVD Spot...it was so freaking easy to keep track of these things. Now, it's kind of a pain in the ass.

I have DVD profiler, so it's very easy to do so. Can even sort by last watched.

Yes, in an Access database. It only goes back about 2 years though.

Re: Do you keep track of what you watch?

My stuff is arranged on my shelves by what I've actually watched- the stuff that I've watched completely goes first, then the stuff I've watched but haven't 'finished' (it's too late at night to explain what I mean by that and you'd think I was nuts if I told you- if you really wanna know look up a post I made on the subject a few years ago and then marvel at all the "WTF?" responses) and after that is stuff that hasn't been played at all.

After I consider a disc "finished", I don't keep track of when it gets played after that- could be never, or could be every day. Not surprisingly the music discs get the most replay, though I usually skip to my favorite songs.

Same here. I more or less can remember what I have and have not seen. This summer I actually caught up on A LOT of stuff I hadn't gotten around to watching, so that was a nice change of pace.

Used to track it in DVDSpot, plan to track it whenever I get around to converting that to a GoogleDoc.

I also try to vote on films I've seen in IMDB, so that sometimes helps me remember that I've already watched it.

Re: Do you keep track of what you watch?

I don't track the specific date I watch anything, but I do know which of my specific DVDs I haven't watched yet (regardless of whether or not I've seen it before -- such as renting it from Netflix).

Not really. Except for the Annual Horror Challenge.
Which is fantastic.

Re: Do you keep track of what you watch?

No, but I really should. I'll go weeks between episodes on TV shows. Case in point:last night I went to watch Smallville and it had been well over a month since I last watched an ep, so I had to figure out where to pick back up at.

Re: Do you keep track of what you watch?

I have a list of DVDs that I recently purchased, so I know which ones I want to watch, to make sure that they're not defective. I don't buy a lot of DVDs, so it's usually pretty manageable.

Re: Do you keep track of what you watch?

I use DVD Profiler "Last Watched" feature. The problem with that is when you watch a disc again, it removes the last instance of when it was watched from the list. So I use the notes feature to also add a date I watched a disc. I post reviews of each disc I've watched, so those without reviews can also be flagged as not-watched.

Re: Do you keep track of what you watch?

I do it the old-fashioned way. I keep a journal in a composition notebook. With a Bic pen. I put down the date and then what I watched on that date, with as much info as I feel like including. Sometimes with comments, sometimes not.

Re: Do you keep track of what you watch?

For TV sets, I have a post-it inside indicating what's the next episode to be watched.
