I still own the old LD of Moonwalker. But I can't watch it because my LD doesn't work anymore.
I have Ghosts recorded on VHS, so at least got that to watch.
So, I second the OP's request for a region 1 dvd release of these.

I've got Moonwalker on VHS, and it's been one I've wanted on DVD for quite a while, long before MJ's death.

Moonwalker on IMDB:
MOVIEmeter: Up 6,589% in popularity this week.
Ghosts on IMDB:
MOVIEmeter: Up 2,196% in popularity this week.
Ghosts is on my want-list for future releases because of Stephen King's involvement. I'm no Michael Jackson fan, but I'd pick up Moonwalker, too, for the novelty of it. I'll put it alongside KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park and The Man Who Fell to Earth.

Moonwalker I'd definitely rent, if only for the nostalgia factor.

I'm a big MJ fan and have been dying to see Ghosts released on DVD. If both are released, then that's just a bonus, I'd buy them both for sure.

I had a MJ memorial party a week ago and we all watched the Moonwalker. I've seen it in 1991 as a kid and now own a R2 DVD and I was going on for a long time about how there's no proper widescreen release for that or Ghost. If they ever come out (and of course 'The Making of Thriller') I'd buy them on day one.

I had never even heard of "GHOSTS" which just goes to show you how much I cared about MJ in the 1997 era. I saw all the other MJ videos and wasn't really even impressed with THRILLER when it first premiered at a theater in westwood (I'm older than some here), but I admire his early vids like "BEAT IT" and "BILLIE JEAN". I just watched "GHOSTS" on youtube and it's really just a bloated re-do of THRILLER. But it feels even MORE 80's than THRILLER does as THRILLER was made in the early 80's before that era became really sickening. GHOSTS has so much of that Spielbergy-wide-eyed characters in awe of what's going on as the over-emotion music plays. Really puke-inducing in those moments - and this was late 90's! It's not terrible overall, but the songs aren't very good and the choreography looks the same as THRILLER and BEAT IT did 15+ years earlier. No wonder this made no big splash. That said, I was surprised during the end credit sequence as to what's revealed at that point. Definitely raised the quality of the whole project quite a bit, even though it was pretty clear the whole project was based on this 'gimmick' reveal as those end credits last about 7-8 minutes (out of the 38 minute film).
All of this should be on DVD regardless of my comments, by the way.

Strange, because I just came from my parent's house and we watched a VCD copy of Ghosts that my brother got off of eBay years ago.

I really loved "Ghosts", I remember seeing it by chance on ABC Family I guess the year it premiered. Very cool to know that the late Stan Winston directed it, everyone will always remember Winston for his amazing special make-up/effects but besides "Pumpkinhead" and a "Gnome Named Gnorm" this was actually Winston's last directorial effort. That's another good reason for this film to come to DVD.

Too stay on topic, I've never seen Moonwalker but I would certainly buy it if they released it on DVD. I'm sure it won't be too long if the family wants to make boatloads, given the current used VHS prices of Moonwalker, this could be released as a bare bones DVD at a high cost and would still sell thousands.
