Re: Daria on DVD in 2010!
4 Hours of a 4:3 show should fit on a normal DVD. Not sure how hell they can squeeze 5 season + 2 movies onto 8 DVDs otherwise. Sure, maybe put both movies on the same DVD, but that leaves 7 DVDs for 5 Season of 13 episodes each. It wouldn't be smart to split the seasons up, and if they did, it would have to be 2 DVDs per season which would = 10...but what about the movies? If they put the movies on the DVDs of where they go timeline-wise, there would still be some odd gaps of Season episodes splitting over into other ones. I don't care - I just want Daria!

I'm going to guess all 65 episodes are scattered throughout Disc 1 - 7 and Disc 8 are the two movies and the bonus features. The movies are only 66 minutes and 75 minutes each.
Since MTV is doing this for Daria, who do I have to sleep with to get a similar box set done for 2GETHER?

So you'd rather pay $300-$400 for a complete series with the music intact? MTV knows that'll never fly. I'm perfectly fine with replacement tracks if they kept the 'main' stuff people would remember. I don't care if they replaced some lame Green Day song with a generic one if it means the MSRP is more reasonable and I could legally enjoy this show.

Sure, if you compress it to hell. Three hours is more realistic for a single-sided disc. TV Shows on DVD says this'll have a run-time of 27 hours, which comes out to 3:20 per disc -- a little more than I'd like, but I can live with it.

Unless they solved that issue...but for $70MSRP I can't see how.
