Well, it's already turning February 2010 this week, and nothing's happened.

Cybertalk is cheap, and I don't see any Daria whatsoever. No specifics on exactly WHEN this year the first official complete season will be released. This week? In July? December? What?

Meanwhile, they're still hawking those lame VHS-to-DVD copies (all 5 seasons). No thanks - I want to view Daria with only the very best picture (and sound) quality.

The news reports made it seem like the 'Daria' set is intended for a holiday release, so I wouldn't be surprise if we don't find out any 'hard information' until midsummer.

But as you say "I want to view Daria with only the very best pictures (and sound) quality" I hope your not dissapointed with the song replacement that are bound to be necessary for this set to be affordable.

Admittedly, I am disappointed that we will more-than-likely not get the show with the original music. With that said, I'm glad we're getting this at all. It could end up languishing in Black Market Hell like The Wonder Years...

I seriously doubt there will ever be a better release of B&B. The best case would be more episodes, but just more of the same (ie no/few music videos)

I remember catching a few episodes of this when it aired. I liked it quite a bit. I'll definitely pick it up on DVD.

65 Episodes of Daria + 2 movies...

Sure, I could see 1 disc per season, 1 disc for Special Features, and 1 disc for each movie.

13, 20 minute episodes would fit just fine on a DVD.

The frame rate on that dvd would be terrible with 13 episodes. The most they could get away with would be 8.
