DVD Cataloging - What Program Do You Use?

I was using Delicious Library (Mac) for my DVD's, and recently switched to DVDPedia, because of the option to have a mobile version on my iPhone.

So the question is, what DVD cataloging system do you use (if any at all)?

I used to use Guzzlefish, then was at DVDSpot (RIP them both...). So I had lost faith in them, but recently returned.

I also used Guzzlefish then DVD Spot. Haven't opted to give it a third try. I think the best option would be some sort of non-online database, so it wouldn't be able to shut down on me.

Dvdaf (online) and Excel (offline). The Excel document gets updated the most though.

Tarantino, they're in the process of making a mobile version of Delicious Library FYI.

I use Aficionado and Count.

Neither of which can hold a candle to DVDSpot. Man, I miss that site.

DVD Profiler, hands down for me. I also use MS Excel for offline work.

Re: DVD Cataloging - What Program Do You Use?

I loved DVDSpot, and have refused to move on to another. Partly due to stubbornness, but partly because the others just aren't nearly as good, imo.

I'd love one that has an iphone app, but am PC only. Could DVDpedia help me? Will research.....

Should've set up the poll for multiple selections. There are many who use more than one.

Re: DVD Cataloging - What Program Do You Use?

I miss DVD Spot, getting by with DVD Profiler (free version) and maintain an Excel file. God, only on this site is that sentence a cliche....

Re: DVD Cataloging - What Program Do You Use?

I'm actually leaning towards just putting them in a spreadsheet/database using google docs.

That way, it will be accessible anywhere, and hopefully future proof. I will not go thru losing another DVDSpot.

Re: DVD Cataloging - What Program Do You Use?

I use Open Office to keep a spreadsheet.

I started out at DVDaf, until they changed the format and I hated it. Then I switched to DVDSpot and we all know what happened to them. I'd like to have my collection online again, but I've yet to find a good option. DVDaf would work if they would ever implement an import function.

I'm definitely never going online only again though, after DVDSpot I will always keep an offline version. I'm not redoing my list a third time.

I'm mainly asking for my own education, but wouldn't google docs be the better option for you?

You'd have an excel-compatible spreadsheet, with offline, online, and mobile access.
