I think he means he won't support DVDs that omit features that they are capable of including, and I feel the same way. If DVD technology allows you to include a feature, then include it. Don't screw me out of a featurette just because I haven't upgraded to Blu-Ray. I am aware I'm going to miss out on some of the additional Blu-Ray features that DVD just isn't capable of, and that's fine. Just don't screw me over for no reason.

Little tidbit from Digital Bits, last line "additional features may be announced".
In announcement news today, Warner has just set Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino for release on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on 6/9 (SRP $28.98 and $35.99). The DVD will include at least 2 featurettes (Manning the Wheel and Gran Torino: More Than a Car). The Blu-ray will add The Eastwood Way featurette, BD-Live and a Digital Copy disc. Additional features may also be announced.
