After recently buying the best-of set, I weep for the fact that only 30 of a possible couple thousand episodes of The Match Game will probably ever be released to DVD. There are so many great TV moments on this all-time-best game show.

The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman (original). Apparently there's some legal issues that will forever keep them from a U.S. release, although the U.K. has some of the seasons.

Yeah, I was going to post The Six Million Dollar Man simply because it was one of the most iconic shows of the 70's.

But I do think they'll show up on DVD eventually. Maybe.

The problem is that they are owned by Universal, and Universal sucks when it comes to going into their vaults and releasing older titles that they own (whether TV or theatrical). They're still sitting on some very popular Paramount titles from the 40's - iconic titles (like The Glass Key and The Blue Dahlia) that they own but aren't doing anything with. (You can't make money sitting on the titles, guys...)

I watched this show religiously when it was airing on A&E my senior year of high school and I've been jonesing for the show on DVD since then. Why haven't they released it yet?

I'll also second the Wonder Years and add Judging Amy...

Cold Case (mainly because of the music): I actually had to buy a bootleg while on vacation in Hong Kong of seasons 1-4 2 years ago to hold me over.

NYPD Blue: Stuck at season 4 with 8 more to go.

Without a Trace: Stuck at season 2.

Crossing Jordan: Stuck on season 1 with 5 more to go.

Seeing as the existing sets have come down to around $15 apiece at the Wal-Marts in my area (I presume it's the same everywhere), you should probably just take what you can get.

Rowan & Martin's "Laugh-In". I have the Rhino "Best of's", but would like to see season sets.

I'm suprised Sea Hunt hasn't shown up yet. I believe it was an independent show syndicated rather than network.

Dexter's Laboratory is very popular for an animated show at least. Those would sell like crazy I wonder whats holding them back?

Outside of a three-episode "TV Favorites" dvd, no Maverick with James Gardner has been released as yet.

I would love to see it happen with some interviews with Gardner and Roger Moore, who played their English cousin, included while they're still around.

That is a very good idea. I want those on DVD so badly, and I just don't think its ever going to happen.
