Got mine from Amazon today.. No Slipcovers... but to get them from Best Buy for almost $5 more (35-30.98+tx) wouldn't have been that worth it to me.. kinda hoped I would get them, but oh well....

Actually, it's more than $5 - closer to $6.50 more in NJ when you add tax.

Anyone have issues with some audio on these DVDs? My 2 disc on Volume 1 and disc 1 on Volume 2 have audio issues where it'll just go mute but the image will go on. There's no scratches or nothing..how odd.

Be evil.

Go buy them from BB with slip covers and return them sans slip covers.

That's how I got mine :) (although Target, not BB)

Finally got my Volume 1 slipcover...from Wal Mart of all places.

It seems everyone has gotten slipcovers with the recent wave of stock, in Canada at least.

Has anyone heard whether these are edited at all, or are they exactly the same as the original broadcasts?

Awesome news. Got the first two volumes the week they came out and thoroughly enjoyed revisiting one of my favourite childhood shows. Looking forward to watching more, especially Dark Phoenix.

Awesome, i've enjoyed the first two volumes so these are easy buys for me, especially given the fairly low price.

Wonderful news! I'm definitely buying these and I recommend that all fans of the show do too.

AWESOME NEWS!!

So do volumes 3 & 4 complete the entire series, then?

Next: please, please, please release the 90's animated Spidey show!

Cool, hope they have slipcases also, it will annoy my anal-nature to only have slipcases for the first two volumes.

I am wondering this also. It suppose it's possible there could be a Volume 5 for Season 5 (Beyond Good and Evil was the Season 4 finale so we know for sure everything up until the end of Season 4 is being released)

But Season 5 is only 10 episodes...

Someone mentioned this earlier in the thread I think, but maybe Volume 5 will include the last 10 episodes and then some crossover episodes too.

With a new Spidey movie in the works, I wonder if the Spider-man animated series would come out then like X-Men did with Wolverine.

Thank god Disney is not screwing us over with this.

Any chance of a complete series set for this?

On their retailer sheet listed on TVSHOWSONDVD it says that the first release of S1/S2 sold 170% more than what they expected, so probably, as long as S3/S4 sells as well. It won't have shiny slip covers though probably.

I'd say there's a high probability of that.

Might even be before then since Amazon UK has a June 22 release date listed for Volume 1 of the 95 series (I say this because they released XMen in the UK first and then not long after it was released in the US)
