Amazon or Ebay, although you may get the Koch version instead of the US release.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume IX

It's a pretty much a guarantee. The US version was exclusive to wwe.com, and is pretty rare. The Koch version is also very rare, but well worth the price.

Despite not being an "official" U.S. release, it's a damn good ppv:

-Eddie Guerrero vs. Rob Van Dam II - IC Title
-Stone Cold vs. Ric Flair & The Big Show
-Edge vs. Kurt Angle - Hair vs. Hair
-Triple H vs. Chris Jericho - HIAC
-Undertaker vs. Hulk Hogan - Not as bad as everyone says

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume IX

Heres the latest release of the Savage DVD including extras, also looks like there will be segments before matches explaining each match. Looks like another fantastic release by WWE!

He was one of the most controversial superstars in history of sports entertainment, through his complicated relationship with Miss Elizabeth, his dramatic WWE championship tournament run at WrestleMania IV, the formation and explosive breakup of the MegaPowers with Hulk Hogan, his reign as the Macho King, and his shocking jump to WCW. "Macho Man" Randy Savage brought a chaotic poetry to the ring. He's widely considered one of the finest in-ring competitors of all time, and his interviews were always a sight to behold. PWinsider.com is reporting that Wrestling with Shadows is going to be released in the US in a 2 disc set on March 31st. Disc 1 has the documentary and disc 2 has The Life and Death of Owen Hart documentary. Right now, the only place that has it for pre-order is highspots.com:

I really enjoy getting more and more legends on DVD, but do they really have to place the documentary....if you can call it that, right inbetween the matches?

* Savage's Choice for a New Manager
I assume that's when savage brings out miss elizabeth for the first time. I remember watching that as a kid and always got a kick out of all the heel managers at the time trying to bring savage into their respected "families or stables" only to be snubbed.

If JR said it's happening, it's probably happening. It's more likely that no other info has been released.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume IX

Here's some funny bits about the WWE No Way Out 2009 DVD.

The cover, taken from the original poster, now cites who exactly that is behind the chain links, which is a good idea, since I couldn't tell if it was Vladimir Kozlov or Edge.

Turns out it's Kozlov.

And on the back of the DVD, the synopsis mentions how the second chamber has a "surprise" entrant, and at the bottom, in the match, one of the competitors listed is Edge.

Either keep the secret of give it away, but don't do the both. It was just very strange.

I'm guessing that if they could have gotten Savage to do it, they would have done a full blown doc. It seems like the E is only doing docs for the retired guys now, and they probably didn't want another Self Destruction of The Ultimate Warrior kinda doc where there was a lot of negativity.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume IX

So I haven't watched wrestling in probably 6 years, so I obviously do not keep up with all the releases, but do you guys think there's any chance they'll release a DVD set chronicling the Attitude era, or is the closest thing we'll see the highlights in the Best of Raw DVD?

I don't think they'll do that now since WWE is turning their product more PG oriented. I think the best of RAW is all you are going to get.

You can also get some of that in the Raw 15th anniversary set, but I personally was quite let down by it. There's so much more they could've included.

Interestingly, they've left the scratch logo on th eposters for the events on the cover. I doubt they'll keep it on for the final release.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume IX

Does anyone know where I can get the Christian TNA DVD that has 8 matches listed on the back cover versus the more common 7 match version?

Thanks
