Was going to say that I could finally retire my VHS copy of Hiding Out, but I already did as I have the original DVD. I will wait to see the final specs on teh new disc, to see if I want to double dip.

It's a shame to say but don't expect any extras for these DVD releases....
Lions Gate is famous for releasing stuff for the first time on DVD with no features....

Well at the very least they should have 'Pop-up Trivia' since it is advertised on the cover art of these films.

I didn't even know there was an uncut version of Slaughter High. I wonder which version my vhs is.
This is kind of a strange question to ask, but is the full frontal male nudity in both cuts or just the unrated? It might help identify which version I have.

Much of the gore was cut prior to release to obtain an R-rating; for its video premiere the distributor released both the censored theatrical version and an unrated version that contained the excised violence.

Does the VHS box or tape have a rating? According to the film's Wikipedia page, there were both R-rated and unrated home video versions:

Yes, which only adds to the general ineptness of the presentation. It's somehow appropriate that the films are also in the incorrect aspect ratio. If Lionsgate can't be bothered to even get the actor's names right, why bother with the proper OAR?

Re: Lionsgate "Lost Film Collection"
apparently HIDING OUT is the only one getting proper OAR treatment. fuck lionsgate (again).

At least Johnny Guitar is 1:37, so Lionsgate won't be able to screw up the AR on that one when they finally release it in 2013.
