That is so weird...for the first time in months, I listened to the theme song of this movie, and I thought "I wonder when this is going to be on DVD."

It's about time. This is not a childhood fav or anything (I didn't see it until I was like 14), but it was a serviceable sci-fi comedy after Ghostbusters.

I wonder what they mean by "snap case," though, is it 1999 again?

Really!? :dance: That is great news! HTD is one of my most wanted still not on R1 DVD.

Wow. I can't believe this. Can this really be the last holey grail DVD release?

I used to watch this often when I was a kid. I'd definitely pick this up.

I've almost bought the R2 several times... glad I held off.

Finally! And it's relatively cheap to get on DVD? No word on Blu-ray?

Did they bring snap cases out of retirement to try to discourage sales???

Yay, I can put my Import to rest. Well, as long as the CG hasn't been redone and Howard doesn't drop to his knees to yell "Nooooooooooooooooo!"..

This was the movie that introduced me to condoms. It's going to the collection just for that alone.

For the most part, Universal doesn't seem to want to release new catalog titles on BD. They'd rather port the HD DVD titles.

Then again, if Street Fighter is coming, anything's possible.

I'm looking forward to this one, haven't seen it in years!

Finally, the movie that caused the chairman of Universal to resign and indirectly launched Pixar comes to DVD!

Fascinating, that's what I can say about it. Not in a good way, but in a sense of appreciating it as a failure, which was solely because of how commercial they attempted to make an non-commercial property. As in, it's not Battlefield Earth, but the concept as created would have worked better later on, say, as an Adult Swim show or what not.

I'd say there are still others, like R1 African Queen
