What are you still waiting for?

What titles are you wanting to be released on DVD?

Here are a few off my want list:

Where The Boys Are '84 (1984 made-for-TV)
Tribes (1970 with Jan-Michael Vincent)
Return To Macon County (1975 with Don Johnson & Nick Nolte)
Delivery Boys (1984)
Bad Ronald (1974 made-for-TV)
Spring Break (1983)
Screwballs (1983)

Alot... First thing I thought of was a legit release of Four Flies On Grey Velvet and a re-release of Door Into Darkness that won't cost me $50+. Basically anything Argento dealt with that doesn't have a real retail release

got so tired of Warner's relunctance to release The Devils and bought the boot.

The Boyfriend - come on MGM get off your fat ass, and release this on DVD, well at this point on bluray please.

I really want Prospero's Books - but the only DVD release of the film is an import from Spain with forced subs on it.... come on, who owns the US rights for this??

Miramax owns the rights. I was hoping this would get a Criterion release, like Chungking Express, but according to this thread, they have no plans for it, though The Cook, the Thief, his Wife and her Lover has been confirmed as a future Criterion.

that f'ing sucks... the one studio that seems like that might tackle a release of Greenaway's films:

- The Baby of Macon
- The Tulse Luper Trilogy

I would have thought a studio in the UK would have released these, but no, they are just as relunctant to release films from a native UK director

I'd also love to see Criterion release the mini series cut of 'The Best Intentions' but they seem mum on the idea too

Forget anamorphic, I'm just waiting for ANY widescreen version of:
The Paper
and
Fierce Creatures
...both are only available Full Screen.

and Erik the Viking (theatrical cut) - that "Director's Son's Cut" was HORRIBLE. Cut 30+ minutes out of it and the pacing and jokes are a disaster now.

TV on DVD:
Ed
Parker Lewis Can't Lose

Mad About You: Seasons 4+
Tiny Toons: Seasons 3+

I'm still waiting for:

The Horn Blows At Midnight (1945)
The African Queen
Ironweed
Face Behind The Mask (1941)
Wise Blood
Sorcerer
in widescreen; the version currently available is fullscreen

I'd also like to see Criterion or Warners or at least one of the "better" companies release a cleaned up version of Beat The Devil, with extras. It's a fascinating film, and one of Bogart's few comedic turns...the story behind it's production is really interesting, and it has a pretty good cast, too.
