The Boys In Company C

Supposedly released on DVD next month (September), this 1977 title is one of the best war movies ever made.

I'm hopeing there will be bonus materials included and hopefully a widecreen format.

If anyone has any inside information, let us know. And thanks!

Audio commentary by Andrew Stevens, trailer, and gallery of lobby cards. Widescreen (235:1) Good movie, with R Lee Ermey doing his first drill instructor performance.

No, if you read closer on that version it is apparently a version that somebody did out of their basement It is not a studio release and the other version besides the new one coming out is from another region. This is a title I have been waiting on a LONG time as it is one of my dad's favorites and I for sure will getting it for him as I figure his VHS has to be all but dead of the movie.

My copy arrived from Amazon today. I was very shocked to find out it was non-anamorphic. Despite that, the quality is crisp and colorful. A few scratches and grain aside, this is the best the film has ever looked or sounded. If you are a fan of Vietnam films, I would definitely recommend you check this film out.
