I don't think there's been any news, but a few years ago I was talking with some friends and said "Duckman needs to be on Comedy Central!" Within a month, it was on the air.

Sooooo:

"Duckman needs to be on DVD!"

I promise to use my powers only for good.

I was a ardent fan when it was on the USA network, but I don't know how many were produced and how many actually aired.

I still see Duckman whenever I see Jason Alexander...I guess that's why they don't let you see or hear the actors doing the voices of the "Simpsons!"

So, when it does come out, I will get my copy!!!

I have learned to never say never when it comes to DVD. When I have broken down and bought a set on VCD or DVD-R, a DVD set of it is announced not too long after the fact. And at the rate these TV shows are coming to DVD, somewhere there is some body planning a Duckman DVD.

I have seen a few episodes of Duckman and it is demented and funny!

We have posted a petition, started by Jared Martin, on our website at www.moonlighting21.com because Jeff Reno and Ron Osborn, executive producers of Duckman, also wrote and produced episodes of Moonlighting.

Here's the link to the petition to release Duckman on DVD.

http://www.petitiononline.com/DMonDVD/petition.html

Sign and forward it to all your friends!

What the hell, I'll sign, loved Duckman.

(not 100% sure that a petition will work however)

It seems Paramount owns the rights to Duckman.

I'm confused. What series was this? A cartoon or live-action, and when did it air?

It ran from 1994 to 1997 on the USA network. It was a cartoon & you can see some bad quality clips here http://www.comedycentral.com/tv_shows/duckman/
On top the clips it says Duckman is on at 2:30am Sundays on comedy cental but I don't think that's true.

That link will probably be removed, bootlegs are frowned upon.

Sweet Jesus...70 episodes on FOUR dvds?!? That's 17½ eps, or nearly SEVEN HOURS, per disc! The quality must suck worse than the MPG/DiVX versions you can download from your friendly neighborhood P2P service.

If I ever get around to copying my complete VHS collection to DVD, there's no way I'd put more than 6 or 7 episodes per disc -- otherwise the quality would be unwatchable.
