I wanted to get this but that art is so ridiculously poor I almost don't want to anymore.

good for anyone who hadn't bought the separates before (I think I paid that much for the Jane Doe Edition alone) but a non-issue for people who own either one already.

On one hand, I despise all these companies and their lame re-issues, but people buy them, so who knows...

Intresting. I haven't bought the single releases yet so this is a possible future buy.

I never got the 'Jane Doe' edition, but I think I'll pass on this as well. I'll just stick to my original Fletch dvd.

Yea, you can find it on its own right now. Who knows, it may go OOP after this collection comes out.

I first saw this thread title and thought I had time-traveled to a point where filmmakers had already made adaptations of several of Gregory MacDonald's excellent sequels and this was the subsequent box set release on dvd. Guess that will never happen...

you mean a sequel actually based on a Fletch book, and not something cobbled together by screenwriters? Oh, the humanity!

Universal's track record would suggest a standard single-width case with a "page" disc holder (or a flipper disc) inside a thick cardboard "book" slip.

Or that too. Still would get the space down from 2 Amaray's to 1. It's all about the space.
