Rollerball double feature (is original anamorphic)???

Does any one know if the original Rollerball is anamorphic in the double feature (Rollerball original/remake) that just came out? I just saw it at K-Mart and it lists both versions as 2:40 widescreen, but it doesn't say 16:9. I know the single dvd of the original is non anamorphic and the remake is anamorphic. Figured I'd ask before I chance it.

MGM is Fox. Fox hates DVD consumers. The answer is no.

There is an anamorphic version of the original Rollerball out in R2. I don't know why they didn't manufacture an R1 version of it.
