I loved this show, I would definetely buy this on release day. After the original actors of the show left the series faltered a bit I thought. But the first two seasons would be a definate buy for me. I'm going to write down the possible release day now.

Seems the date has not been formally announced. In my excitement reading the article, I thought 6/13/08 was a possible release date. Sorry if my header was misleading.
Still, I would LOVE to revisit this series. I have fond memories of it as a 12 year old sitting in my parents basement on Saturday nights waiting for this to come on. I hope this comes out.

Terrific news. The first season contains the David Cronenberg directed episode as well. I agree, it started going downhill in season 3, but hopefully all three seasons will show up eventually.

Sounds to me like the studio is trying to gauge interest in this set. I suppose signing up for the pre-purchase plan is like a vote for its release and if they don't get enough people they will let the project die. I'm also guessing I can cancel the Amazon order later in order to buy elsewhere if cheaper.

I was only 15 when this show was on and sporatically watched it while in High School. I do recall being a fan of Robey (Micki)

I don't know if I've ever seen a full episode of this. I remember tuning in and being disappointed when I found out there was no Jason. That said, I'd probably spring for a complete set since I've heard so much about it.. so I'll wait.

Nice. Now give me Freddys Nightmares, and I will really be happy!

I'm just glad that I'll be able to upgrade to the official release. It is a great series that was hampered by a lame title.
