I was curious about that one myself. The poster/synopsis looked great.

I wish Code Red would release more Explotation Cinema Double Features of some of the OOP stuff that BCI had released. I would love to have Savage Streets in a Double Feature

Yeah, those release dates I posted should be taken with a grain of salt. Code Red seem to be pretty erratic.

DiabolikDVD's site mentions on their pre-order page that Horror High is limited to only 3,000.

Interesting

That doesn't really shock me, I'd be surprised if they manage to sell 3,000 copies of that disc.

Last I heard their last release (Slithis) sold less than 200 copies.

I wish Code Red would re-release Savage Streets as an Explotation Cinema Double Feature

Code Red didn't control the rights to the film. BCI did. It was a BCI release, not Code Red. They were contracted to create most of the special features on the release though.

I know that but Code Red has the rights to some of the BCI explotation films and they are continuing the Welcome to the Grindhouse/Explotation Cinema line and I was just saying i would love for Savage Streets to get the Double Feature treatment and yes I own the Savage Streets DVD but would gladly swap it out for a Explotation Cinema release

I was one of the 200 people to buy "Slithis"

Great release. Terrible film.

Most of their releases have a very limited run. But, no one buys them, so, it doesnt really matter because they wont sell out.

Gotta' support code red.

from my understanding, all of the code red releases are very limited. something like a few thousand for each title. but yeah, they usually dont sell out because of relative obscurity.

dvdbeaver review of Master Lee's Drunkard Cinema Volume 1

2 features, "Challenge the Dragon", and "Needle Avenger"
both come with English dubbed soundtracks only, and Challenge the Dragon's colors look extremely washed out. "Needle Avenger" looks better, but dubbed only releases like this make me choose to pass....

It does make sense. I'll probably jump on that release of Horror High if the reviews are solid.

It’s fun to rent, but pretty soon if you want to own these discs, you better do so soon as several of our catalog titles are no longer going to be repressed.

The Undertaker (1988) (unreleased Joe Spinell film), The Carrier (1988) and Light Blast (1985) in October. Maybe.

Not all that surprising, considering all of their ongoing problems plus the current state of DVD in general, but it looks like Code Red is about to close up shop. This was posted here by their president:
I am ending the company in summer 2011.

I am saddened and not surprised. Look at how lazy they were with the last Explotation Cinema releases
