I was planning on buying th imaginationland dvd, but it sounds like all the episodes are included and for the first time the season set will be uncensored.

Sounds like they learned a lesson from Family Guy! Now if they could have full commentaries on all the episodes and maybe even make the episodes different from what aired, they'd have sets that would be miles above Family Guy.

Imaginationland was expanded, and it was also presented in non-amamorphic widescreen. The original episode were shown full frame, and that's probably what will be in the season set.

Anyone else have a problem with Disc One in this set? I bought this at Target yesterday with the lenticular cover and tried watching the first disc when I got home. Everything on the disc seems fine except that episode 4, The Snuke, will not play. I tried it on five different players with no luck.

It first happened on my stand-alone dvd player - it wouldn't play the beginning of that episode and would skip to the 3rd chapter or so. I'd rewind it from there and it would struggle to play that section, and would pixilate, and skip ahead to where it could play again.
I tried the disc on another dvd palyer - same story. I tried it on my blu-ray palyer (PS3), same thing. I tried on my 360 HDdvd add-on, and it played flawlessly. So there you go...

SP is in season 12 and there have been some excellent shows in the first half of the year. Season 11-12 was around the time that people felt like The Simpsons was really going into decline. 14 episodes is enough a season that the show remains fresh without danger of "filler episodes" (even tho there have been a few in the past few years, but it's a small percentage)
