I did not have any problems with it on my PC (lite-on dvd drive), Toshiba HD-A2, Cyberhome CH500, or my laptop Hitachi drive.

The one thing I am noticing, though, is that I'm having trouble with any of the recent South Park DVDs, specifically with the A2. It seems that certain motions on the show give a weird horizontal blind effect, specifically when the characters move horizontally...but not in all cases. And I cant decide if it's the HD upconversion from the player, or something with the processing done by my Sony KDS60A3000 TV. I think it's the motion enhancer on the TV, but I'm not sure yet, and haven't had much of a chance to play with that.

However...if I set the A2 to output only 720p or lower, it goes away, but appears 1080i modes.

I'll have to make sure mine works now...are you selecting the episode individually from the menu or using the Play-All option? (I have yet to open mine so I don't know how it laid out on the disc).

Both. Same result either way. Every player freezes up just on that episode...HD-A35, PS3, Malata PAL/NTSC player, Sony DVD Recorder & Xbox HD DVD.

I was curious about this as well and didn't see it answered. Was the expanded version as well as all the extras (if any) included in the Season 11 set?

No, the Season 11 set doesn't include the extras from the separate Imaginationland DVD. That DVD has approx. 45 mins of commentary that is not repeated in the set, the set has just the usual "mini-commentaries". The separate release also has two short storyboard sequences.

But the episode is the expanded version? Or original?

I think the Imagionationland episodes in the set are the broadcasted versions as opposed to the "director's cut" of the separate DVD. I don't recall too many differences though, but I didn't watch them back to back.

It's not bleeped on the Imaginationland DVD, either.

I know. I was mentioning it as opposed to how it was aired (which was with bleeping I think?).

And with a big-ass Comedy Central bug in the corner, and commercials every 5 minutes.

I am having the same problem. Tried it on my laptop, my Sony and my coby region free - episode 4, disc one. I am going to try taking it back today.

Okay. I've now tried replacing this twice today and both replacement sets have had the exact same problem - same episode. Does anyone have the e-mail or contact for paramount home entertainment? Unfortunately the search on here still seems to be malfunctioning a bit.

I guess I lucked out.. any one think that batch of bad discs may be only in certain parts of the States? I know me and a friend of mine have had no problems with our sets.

I've watched all the episodes on the first disc and I haven't had any hiccups or freezing to report.

Watching it now...same problem....when I play all on the first disc episode 4 skips right t the middle of the episode. When i try to select the episode from the menu the dvd freezes and then eventually starts in the middle of the episode... anyone had any luck replacing this...I'm in the NY area and it seems at least one other with this problem is here too...any luck contacting paramount?

Aside from the comentary is the single disc of Imaginationland worth getting?

I think it is. I bought it the day it came out. I like the fact it runs the length of one long movie and the commentary is great.

Now, whether or not it's cropped or enchanced for 16x9 is beyond me since I don't have an HDTV.. but it's in a 1.85:1 ratio I believe (could also be 1.77:1.. sorry, I'm not technical on that end). It looks a lot cleaner than the broadcast/Season 11 version.

I was under the impression there was no extra footage in the individual release, it was just cut together. Anyone?

In the commentary, they mention scenes that has shots that wasn't aired due to various reasons. I'd assume that's the extended footage.
