That one dvd that you refuse to get
Even with all the money in the world, or if someone offered you all dvds, would you refuse any? I have one film that I can remember that I would downright refuse, and I can bet no one will see it coming:
Drumline.
WORST. MOVIE. EVER. IMHO.
Even as a movie, it sucked. But as a person who was IN a very good drumline throughout high school, it's the worst depiction of anything drums ever. I'd rather watch ANY other movie.
So anyone else have that one movie they hate/refuse? Or is everyone really openminded haha?

Titanic. Saw it when it first came out in theaters, and never did quite catch on to what all the hype was.
I know, I know...it's the top grossing movie of all time, and perhaps it is clichéd to say I really don't much care for it, but I didn't. There are lots of movies I would never want, but I just can't imagine it sitting on the shelf with movies I DID enjoy, let alone having to actually watch it again.

Faces of Death Collection - I wouldn't feel right owning any of those. It's like the souls of the dead people are digitally captured on the discs inside.

"Nurse Betty" and "Envy" have to be the worst films i have ever seen, so it's safe to say that they will never rest on my dvd shelf next to my Mel Gibson, Arnold Schwarzenegger & Titanic dvd's

Superman IV. I have the dvd's of I, II, III, and the director's cut of II, but IV is just so mind-meltingly stupid I refuse to see it ever again. I normally get all the sequels to movies, to complete the story. I have Never Ending story I-III, and Rocky I-VI, even Jaws I-IV. But Superman IV is just too awful!

At least 80% of all those Faces Of Death movies were fake. Well done fakes, but fake none the less.
Now Traces Of Death - Thats another story for another thread which I think no one wants to get into considering thats all 100% real.

Instead of turning this into another "worst movie ever" thread, how about listing movies you might otherwise own if not for the way it was released on DVD.
i.e. non-anomorphic, edited, full screen, no directors cut, only directors cut, etc.
For me one would be Eric the Viking. I liked the movie and normaly would have bought it, but only the director's son's edited version came out.

The ones I won't own yet are because they aren't what I am looking for in the movie
The Shadow (No WS=No Buy)
Wyatt Earp (No Director's Cut)
Return Of The Living Dead 3 (No Unrated Cut)

believe it or not, the boondock saints. Not only did I hate seeing Willem DeFoe in drag but I had to put up w/ what I thought was a terrible terrible plot line.
The worst part is that no matter what party I go to I am cursed to have that movie brought up in conversation. I find it SO overrated.
