lol, unfortunately I wish, but no I'm not.

I'd say that I hear about that movie most at parties where dvd collections are typically exposed, obviously, so normally it's any frat party or college party where everyone's drinking Guinness. I've also been to a few pubs where it tends to get mentioned among friends or people I've just met, and when it's not there it's consistently overheard when I'm shooting billiards. Usually at the pool hall it's the 14 year olds who are arguing over who's the most Irish and asking me for smokes.

And now that I think of it...it got mentioned A LOT when I worked at the mall. Of course working in a knife store close to hot topic I was bound to see B.S. shirts all the time....that just made me h8 that movie even more.

ATP I could probably tolerate it if I tried watching it again, but I'll always be reminded of the instances that killed it for me...

So you're waiting for the HD DVD release, Eh?

I'd refuse any "Friends" seasons on DVD. It isn't a badly produced show or anything; it's just that I don't find it funny in the least.

Any Disney DVD.
I dont like these animated films. I did buy The Incredibles but i dont give 2 shits about things like Ratatouille, Cars, Toy Story, Bugs Life, Monsters Inc., Wall-E, Tarzan, Finding Nemo, any family live action film they make, etc.

Oh, how many times I've passed up Ransom. "Special Edition" my ass!
Spoiler:
...and it has nothing to do with the fact that Mel Gibson is in it.

I gotta agree with you. Kubrick is a genius with a camera and his fims look fantastic but he cant tell a story.I just find all his films slow and boring!!

Bitch sounds like she belongs on Dawsons Creek the way she talks.

Forget Paris would be a DVD I'd rather jump in a bonfire than own.

Star Trek V.

I own all the others, and I don't know how many times I've been at the store and had a copy in my hand. But God help me, even on sale for $7.95 I always end up putting it back.

I am not one to pick on anyone but I looked at your DVD collection and you only have one film from the 80's (Labyrinth) and not a single film made before 1986. A Clockwork Orange for over 35 years has & will stood the test of time. As much as you like this kind of genre you should give it another try. I still watch it once a year or so and get something new everytime I watch it! A classic IMHO.

Any shaky-cam movies or TV shows. For whatever reason, it has become quite the rage. The only one I have is the Bourne Ultimatum because it was such a great story. Why on earth they filmed it that way is beyond me. If I want to see shaky-cam movies, I can watch my friends home movies.

I've got a pretty narrow range of tastes in DVD content, and I wouldn't want to own something I wouldn't enjoy seeing. Accordingly, but for the resale value, I'd refuse most DVDs.

Fearless. I have most of Peter Weir's movies and liked this one a lot, but I won't be buying it unless it's released in the theatrical aspect ratio.

This was one of my first DVDs I think, or at least one of my first blind buys. This was before I knew what full screen and widescreen were.

At least Fearless is open matte, not pan-and-scan. I, too, held off on buying it for years, but once I realized that it was open matte, I bought it and enjoy it.

Punch Drunk Love. I really dislike Adam Sandler, but was in love with PT Anderson movies. Until he decided to use Sandler for one of his sparsely released films. I thought I'd be safe from Sandler with PT Anderson, but no, he betrayed me viciously.

I've seen the movie, and of course it's wonderful, but I just can't own it.

I also agree with nateman about FRIENDS. A television "comedy" for people who aren't me.

I'll second that.

Any DVD containing a film re-scoped by Vittorio Storraro into his stupid "univisium" 2.0:1 zoomed-in and choped aspect ratio.

Any of those spoof movies like Epic Movie, Date Movie, Scary Movie, etc.
And while I found Bowling for Columbine interesting, I wouldn't own any of Michael Moore's movies.
