It's not so good in the US either. It's $14.16 just to ship one dvd, and that's the cheapest option. It's sad that I could order 4 dvds from Derby City Wrestling, and the shipping was only $4.60, yet TNA can't even figure out how to ship with the post office.

It's scary to see their online store is as well done as their on air product.

They sent me back a friendly message explaining that the Victory Road 2006 DVD had some technical glitches with it and it is going to be corrected and then once again offered in the store. I just bought a copy of it this week, but that's good news for anyone who can't find it. They did not give a timeframe, but at least they offered an explanation. Now if only they would stop charging so much to ship to Canada, we'd be set...

Did they explain what exactly the technical glitch is?? i haven't had a chance to watch my copy yet.

No, they didn't specify what it was. I hope it's not anything major cause I just bought a copy for 26.00 US.

Maybe they needed to edit out a botched spot...lol!

BullGooseLoony 03-19-08 07:07 PM

Wasn't the main event of Victory Road '06 the match where Christian threw himself into the ring apron after Scott Steiner grabbed him?

Possibly, its probably not a big issue, and if it does effect playback they would have probably announced they are recalling the DVDs and letting the people who bought it know. Since they quietly removed it, like you mentioned they probably had to edit a botch or something.

I just reveived my copy of Sacrifice 2007 and noticed on the back cover it says the date March 11/2007, instead of May.

I guess maybe thats why they temporarly took it off the website and put it back on again.

I guess its not as bad as WWE editing of Mysterio's new DVD, calling WCW ppv "Halloween House" and Eddie and Chavo Guerrera.

No wwe stands at wal-mar yet but I did notice a sign hanging in front of the security scanner that promised a WWE superbox or something like that

Oh, ok. :(

I thought it was something else. I wouldn't know because my area stores suck at putting out anything relating to WWE.

Quick question about the discounted Fan Editions. Does the check-out scan the discounted price?

Yes, even if the price tag says a higher price. Scanning this forum (and others), apparently this is the case almost everywhere except for SoCal. But since you're in NYC, it will work.

Thanks for the info.

I was able to pick up an HBK fan edition yesterday. I really don't care about the extra stuff, but that is a good price for the DVD.

I also watched Greatest Stars of Wrestlemania at the theater yesterday.

DerangedHermit 03-20-08 10:11 AM

Woohoo, I just picked up the Best of RAW Vol. 1/2 DVD for $10 shipped on another forum I post on.

I heard some theaters had technical difficulties. Did yours?

They show WWE releases in US cinemas?

I received the DVD of the Greatest Superstars of Wrestlemania the other day but just haven't had chance to watch it yet.

No, this was a special one-time thing with the WWE and a specific movie theater company that mostly has locations in suburban and rural areas.

RTorres481 03-20-08 12:13 PM

Can anyone who owns it let me know if the Legacy of Stone Cold set comes with a booklet? I just picked up a used copy, and the packaging has an opening for one. But there was no booklet there. Thanks.

It did during the Jericho/HHH match, but towards the end it got fixed and was fine from there.

It is through Carmike Cinemas.

You can find out more info here:

http://www.carmike.com/default.aspx

By the way, if you own the Wrestlemania sets or plan on getting them there is really nothing extra from the program. A couple of interviews but nothing groundbreaking. Cool to see on a theater screen though.
