^ Yes, I watched almost all of it the other day. The last 20 min didn't work for some reason. It's much better than part 2. In fact, the only real complaint I have is that some of the CG work is a little shoddy, but it's definitely done in the spirit of the first film. Seeing the recruitment clips again was a nice touch. It's got a pretty decent story, it doesn't feel as limited in scope as the 2nd film and there is LOTS of bloody gore and some good t&a. I'll be buying it for sure. Worth at least a rental for fans of the first film.

It was better than the seconds. It still isnt as good as the original but a lot better than part 2. The new bugs werent bad. Didnt care much for the scorpion bug that they came up with but overall wasnt too bad. Was interesting to see Rico back in action. Definite rental for sure first.

Yeah, I expect there will be a torrent of such questions soon.

I just watched the 1080 trailer for this last night on my PS3.

Fixed. That airhead doesn't add anything some other faceless chick with a nice rack can't. That faceless rack is named Jolene Blalock in this film.

I dont know if comically is the word but i guess. Heads are cut off, bug legs through bodies, etc. THe usual like the first film.

Yeah, so, ummmm, I watched this tonight....

Not good.

Don't spend your money on this.

I mean, I saw the trailer. I knew it was going to be campy. I set my expectations pretty damn low. But, ummmm, yeah. Not good. No, not good at all.

Denise was okay. I preferred Dina Meyer, though.

I just watched part 3 last night, and I must say... it wasn't bad! I was expecting something on par with the second Starship Troopers, but this one is much, much better than that. The special FX wern't great but it was certainly entertaining. There was more to the story than "kill bug!" in part 2.

The acting was not spectacular, but it was OK. For a straight to DVD movie, this one is worth watching.

Anyone get the 3-pack Blu-ray at Target, I have always loved Starship Troopers, but damn the two sequels really are that bad. Casper Van Dien career must really suck if he came back for part 3.

Yeah, he's not hurting for cash in any way. He probably just really wanted to do it.

There's a pretty good interview with him at Fangoria.com where he basically says that he came back because he liked the part so much. He knows his career is a joke, but he refuses to say anything bad about his Sci-Fi channel movies. He says they've been "very good to him". Seems like a nice enough guy.

I tried sitting through this last night and got about half an hour into it and gave up. I'm giving it one more chance tonight. I'm definitely glad I netflixed versus purchased this one.
