Has the U.S. steelbook artwork been verified yet? I hope the steelbook ends up being like the czech steelbook.

We got our copies at work, and the artwork is not like the czech one. It is the up close Depp face as previously posted.
This one appears to be quite limited like the Transformers one based on the numbers peeps are getting allocated

I preordered Sweeney Todd steelbook at fye on Wed. The lady didn't tell me the price when I asked. She was nice enough to locate Beowulf steelbook for me at another fye and it will be there for me when I pick up Sweeney Todd.

That's interesting... I was told it was $24.99 at the FYE near me.
It's already on sale at select FYE's when I went yesterday 3/27/08. The store in Bronx, NY had only a handful at the time.
Supposedly there will be a rebate too? I hope there's nothing that needs to be cut to submit for rebate? Can anyone confirm who has done FYE rebates w/steelbooks?

There has been no talk on the International Forum (as far as I can tell searchwise) about Sweeney Todd... although *two* issues have cropped up.
If anyone has any confirmation/facts on these, please let us know here?
1) The US 2-disk edition does not include a commentary, while a commentary *IS* listed in the R2 specs and other international specs according to some. Are these just rumors or release-info errors, or *is* there an actual commentary out there which R1 isn't seeing?
2) By god that Czech cover with the single razor (steelbook?) is gorgeous. Where can it be had, and are there any other foreign Sweeney DVD releases that the collector really needs to know about? Any other impressive new graphics or extras from the rest of the world?

Not to threadcrap, but if you don't have to have the steelbook packaging and are a member of Columbia House, then I urge you to read the following thread starting with post #573.

Picked up the 2-disc at Best Buy. It comes with a free ticket to The Ruins. However, there is no ticket inside. On the back of the sticker advertising the ticket, it gives instructions on how to redeem. You have to enter in a code on the website and print out your coupon. First time I've seen this done before. I didn't read the instructions and assumed the coupon was just missing. I can't believe I allowed a Best Buy employee actually tell me something correctly without my knowledge of it first.

I inadvertently tore the sticker when I opened the shrinkwrap - fully expecting to find the ticket inside. I, however was able to salvage my code, and printed my Ruins ticket.
Free ticket to a movie I was already planning on seeing? Nice deal, and like getting the 2-disc Sweeney for an even nicer price!

$5 rebate on the steelbook - you do need to cut the UPC, but that image shown above (the back) is just a paper slip with a drop of adhesive holding it to the steelbook. No big loss unless you actually collect those pieces of paper.
On a related note, without the piece of paper listing the disc contents, the back of the actual steelbook case doesn't list whats included.
