Up to the motel scene it was a good movie.
Seems they were out to make a HANNIBAL, JASON or MICHEAL MYERS series right from the start with the ending this movie has.
So...we all watched No Country For Old Men.

What movie did you watch?

Well, in the sense that the unstoppable killing machine is still on the loose at the end of the movie...yes...

But that's about it.

I don't really see this movie spawning a franchise.

How are the special features on this? I'm probably going to hold out on this, even thought I loved it, because I think there will probably be a much better release in the future, especially since it won best picture.

Three pretty ho-hum featurettes....something you watch once and promptly forget.

And don't count on some extensive SE down the line. The Coen's are not exactly known for having loaded DVD's, and even when they do have quite a bit of content, the extras are somewhat jokey in nature (Blood Simple, Ladykillers and Intolerable Cruelty) or just bland overall (Miller's Crossing, Barton Fink, Big Lebowski and O Brother).

Fargo had a pretty decent SE, but the bonus material was largely devoid of the Coens.

EDIT: Whoops, forgot about Man Who Wasn't There. Pretty solid set of extras on that one.

Maybe you should reconsider.

I just watched this movie earlier today and, personally, thought it was a bit dull. Now, I’m not trying to offend anyone here, and I respect everyone’s opinion and I’m not saying it’s a film no one should see. I just didn’t find it all that exciting. Granted, it did have its moments, but overall I thought it was just OK.

They combined Hannibal and Micheal Myers for a new character.

I'm surprised you didn't find a way to include something about liberals somehow.

Watching movies with someone as literal as you must be a fucking pleasure.

Common sense would tell this movie is a liberal movie by the way the killer is given a chance to continue his killings in future movies based on box-office of course.

deadlywaiter1119: at the end he is looking at the sunset and it cuts to a close up of his eye
deadlywaiter1119: and there is a tear
