I'll be picking this up on Blu @ BB probably for $30! Can't wait! Cover could be better but oh well. I'm sure they'll be another release with the oscar winnings etc. Surprised the Departed hasn't come out with a new release yet. Give it time. I'm still waiting for that Scorsese commentary.

Definately will be picking this up on day 1.

The coverart is ok but I don't like how they added money flying out of the case, it just looks a little cheesy.

Bad cover, great film. Unless I have a BR player by March I'll grab this one up on SD. I hope they fix the name placement before this streets.

Release date Blu-ray purchase for me. Ties Zodiac for best film of 2007. There Will Be Blood is right up there though.

I have it, great movie. I am going to watch the feature, not the "cover" so I don't care what it looks like.

I watched last night too and didn't love it!
Up to the motel scene it was a good movie.
Seems they were out to make a HANNIBAL, JASON or MICHEAL MYERS series right from the start with the ending this movie has.

This tops my Coen brothers favorites with Fargo a close second place. A definite must buy for me!

one of my favorite films last year no doubt. huge coen brothers fan, and this ranks right up there with blood simple to me. maybe their finest hour.

as much as it kills me to do so, i am holding off on the purchase. normally this would be a no brainer, but my new rule is that if there is a blu-ray release i will not buy the sd. i am still holding off on a blu-ray-player until at least the next gen. the impulsive side of me wants to go buy the films on blu-ray now so it is ready when the player finally does arrive, but i expect software to drop in price as well, so am holding off.

into the wild got a an sd purchase from me, as there was only a hd release. (i know blu0ray will come eventually, but went with the sd for now)

lost highway will get an sd purchase on the 25th, as there is no blu-ray.

other than these few exceptions, i have officially sworn off sd purchases.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat, I've only been picking up a few tv sets that won't likely get double dipped and some music video/concert dvds. I have netflix so I can rent films I want to see instead of purchasing them, as I know eventually I'll have a ps3 or other bluray player.
