So we can either buy the uncensored movie now, or wait for the censored episodes on the next season set?

I loooved manbearpig

as for Imaginationland - I saw only the first episode - so I've been dying to see the remaining two - I'll just rent this and buy the season when it comes out on DVD.

Since I'm severely lacking in being caught up on season box sets, I'll pick this up the same way I picked up Christmastime In South Park.

Why would this be different than what will be released in the season set? Is the only difference is that it will be edited together instead of episodes? I'm a little confused.

Well, according to the cover art, it's going to be uncensored. I doubt you'd get the same when it's included with the season set.

A little suspicious of this release. I know it was a "three-parter" which put together times out a little longer than an hour without commercials, but will the additional footage be worth it instead of just getting the season set? I mean they are now pretty much caught up with the DVD season releases to season 10 and this was in season 11...

I'm gonna get it , because of the extras - it's only fifteen bucks over at Amazon - and I assume it might be cheaper the day of release.

What's funny is that I only saw the first episode - so I have no idea how the plotline progressed - with such a cliffhanger, I'm dying to see how the remaining two episodes play out.

It sounds like this will be the episodes edited together into a movie, including some added footage. That could be interesting to have apart from the season set.

I'll be getting this since I don't plan on getting the season set. If I were getting the season set I would probably pass on this. Its a lot like when they released the finales of Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond separate from the season.

wasn't this also the case for the series finale with 'Will & Grace'?

I'm undecided. I don't want to spend any money unnecessarily right now. I'll wait for some reviews and viewer opinions before making up my mind. This won't be a day one purchase for me.

"Imaginationland" was originally produced as a movie, then edited down to the 3 episodes you saw on TV.

It was supposed to be the second South Park theatrical film, but they decided to just put it on TV instead.

If that's the case, will we be seeing this in HD?

hmmm, a roughly 63 minute movie - kind of short if you ask me, padding it out by another 17 minutes would seem to be ideal.

About right for a Marx Brothers movie, though.

Any word on if it's a full commentary track or just a mini-commentary like they have on the season sets?
