Online DVD orangizers?

I need some good websites that allow you to organize your dvds?

RobCA 12-22-07 05:27 PM

I use DVDSpot and love it.

Same as Rob. Big DVD Spot fan here.

DVD Profiler, well worth the $30 for larger collections.

You could probably use this, not sure if it's got an online component..

Second DVDProfiler, especially if you want offline capability as well. My collection's not all that large, but it was still worth the thirty bucks.

Another DVD Spot lover here. IMO it's the best site for cataloging and maintaining your collection. Plus, you get stats on your collection like top actors, directors, most collected year, etc. It's a great site.

Another vote for DVD Spot.

Why would you like things turned orange?

Trevor 12-22-07 09:10 PM

DVD Spot here as well.

DVDsAreMyLIFE 12-22-07 10:05 PM

I vote for DVDAF, big community, basic and easy to use.

I wanted orange. The machine gave me lemon-lime. It KNOWS I like orange!

I'd suggest Delicious Library, if you have a Mac, BUT you said online organizer, and DL2 is never fucking coming out.

When and if I switch to Mac I will jump on DL, it looks like the best program. Until then DVDSpot is my clear choice. It's free and now does everything I want. I have even overcome my biggest problem with DVDSpot and have a printed full collor report of my collection with DVD covers included.

Another vote for DVDProfiler -- been using it since the original version. Love it!

Biased seen as I'm an editor there but DVDSpot.

I also use Profiler as a back up and for being offline. Used to use DVDaf but I prefer something that looks good and has more than the basic cover and very very little info.

benh911 12-23-07 06:44 PM

I have DVDProfiler and love it. Worth the $30.

ParadiseVendors 12-24-07 01:55 AM

i have tried them all, and think that DVDaf is the best.

Pega29 12-24-07 03:48 AM

Another vote for DVDSpot. I have been using it for a while now, and think its easy to use.

Star Wars Guy 12-24-07 06:52 AM

Started with DVD Profiler, now an avid user of DVD Spot!

Trevor 12-24-07 08:28 AM

Tally so far FWIW:

Spot - 9
Profiler - 4
AF - 2

But OP, for more comments, check the other threads Scott linked, as there really are dozens of threads about this topic.

Sabrett 12-24-07 10:40 AM

Another vote for DVDSpot...tried others and always come back to DVDSpot

Celpacius 12-24-07 11:01 AM

That's because you didn't add them.

I'm trying to get into the habit of adding any DVDs that aren't in the database immediately.

 I used to wait and hope but recently I’ve added a couple and as nerdy as it sounds there is always a little glow of pride when I see my name on the bottom of an entry as the contributor.
