Thanks. They had a couple so I picked one up. I didn't know if it was two discs or not. I asked the FYE employee if it was and he said "Yeah". Whatever happened to "I don't know" if you don't know the answer?

Lol. They probably want you to buy it regardless so they will say yes to whatever you want. Thats how i have seen it in the past.

Thankfully the steelbook paper is loose and the UPC was easy to cut off the paper. I took the plastic tray out of the front and slid the paper inside so you can read it. Its tough to get it in there but a little bend and the plastic comes off the steelbook.

The regular editions will probably need the cover cut up. I had to do that with some other dvd's i bought before to get the $5 rebate. I usually hate doing that to any cover. They need to go back to inserts w/ the tabs or like snappers did with additional tabs inside.

You don't need to actually cut the UPC out, just peel the white/yellow price sticker with the UPC off of the front of the case. That works as an equivalent.

The guy at my FYE told me that the Steelbook doesn't get a rebate though, just the regular version. The rebate receipt didn't print out, so that's why he thought that. I'm still going to try and print out the rebate online though and give it a shot. All it's going to cost to try is a stamp and an envelope.

Had the same problem at FYE as you guys. The store only had 1 copy on the shelves when I went there. Rebate wouldn't print out either, but the manager was nice enough to just mark it down instead.

I would think a "Director's Cut" is a "Director's Cut" steelbook or not. I am going to try it anyway. I watched the special features last night and will squeeze in the movie hopefully tonight. Gotta watch it before I send my receipt off to make sure everything is okay. I previewed some of it and the picture quality is outstanding!

DVDSpot is a really good site. I was on DVDAficionado for years, but their collection wasn't as complete, and they took forever to add new entries. I'm sure it's not always as fast of a process, but it took them literally 20 minutes at most to get my entry posted. I was impressed.
