No, its a featurette called "bringing the dragon to life" i talked to the circuit city guy as he was looking at the disc. He said all it says on the case is "circuit city exclusive with exclusive "bringing the dragon to life" and exclusive mobile dowloads"

I highly doubt that feature could be anything else than a bonus disc

However, the outer case did not say bonus disc....

I do think BB is a missprint.. call CC sun or mon to see if they can tell you for sure

mbtrent1617 02-23-08 08:39 PM

i can't stand CC but I may have to sell my steelbook if CC has an additional disc

mbtrent1617 02-25-08 08:46 PM

Can Someone Confirm if the Beowulf CC Exclusive is a Bonus Disc??

Will someone post tomorrow. I preordered the steelbook but would love an additional making of disc.

thanks

cant decide steelbook or $10 hd dvd from hollywood.

I was at Best Buy at lunch and there was a sign up saying that the 2-disc standard edition was a mistake, as for charging five dollars extra for the unrated version (vs. the PG-13 version being 14.99) what a rip off.

Giles 02-26-08 12:17 PM

question is the CC bonus disc with the PG-13 edition or the unrated edition - or both?

It might be a YMMV case, but the Best Buy I visited this morning had the same sign, but it also stated that the Unrated version of Beowulf was also $14.99.

muthafu....

mbtrent1617 02-26-08 02:30 PM

Talked to CC today
The guy said that the bonus features were features accessed online. Not another dvd
just wanted to let you know

Willh51 02-26-08 04:07 PM

Concurred, just got it at CC, the sticker on the front is reversible with a Web site on the back.

darmok 02-26-08 04:19 PM

so you could rip the sticker off and find the "bonus" on the actual sticker's back? they should at least put it on a card inside, sheesh. talk about saving money.

I just ended up getting the steelbook at FYE for 19.99. Just mailed in the $5 mail in rebate on it. I like the steelbook much better. Its just all black w/ Beowulf logo in red.

The sign at the store said it was a $5 mail in rebate for Beowulf and the lady at the store said I had to get it online. I just went to www.fyerebates.com and selected the $5 mail in rebate for Beowulf DC and printed the page that came up.

johnsun 02-26-08 07:32 PM

Hi. Does the rebate form indicate by what date you need to purchase Beowulf to be eligable for the rebate?
Thanks

Rammsteinfan 02-26-08 07:40 PM

fyerebates.com says the following for this rebate:

Valid Purchase Dates: 02-22-2008 through 03-08-2008
Postmarked By: 04-08-2008
Rebate Reward: $5.00 Check

Ya know, thats a good question. They do have different UPCs. The site didnt make mention of which ones on the rebate form. It just said Beowulf DC.

ILSA 02-27-08 01:52 PM

Just came back from BB in Sherman Oaks, CA.

The DC over there was advertised for $19.99 but when I asked an employee to scan it, it scanned for $14.99, just like the theatrical version. The website now lists both versions for $14.99.

Also had a $5 off Rewards coupon, so for $10 I ain't complaining.
