Updated my list as of post #127. Well, I guess a BD version got in there with the HD DVD batch. We'll need more numbers from this section to see.

Seriously, though, I always check my discs to make sure (a) the correct discs are there (I have received 2 of the same disc before) and (b) there are no scratches on the discs (once again, I have had to send back multiple DVDs because they didn't play). In addition, I read some reports that there were some mix-ups in the discs in the set (i.e. HD DVD disc instead of BD)... or was that the Harry Potter release?
Either way, all of the discs are correct and accounted for.

It would be one thing if the external plastic casing said HD DVD and you had the Blu-ray 5-disc set inside. But you didn't, so I guess it's just one of those things.

I had no interest in the briefcase, I ordered the blu-ray 5-disc so I already had all the discs, but darned if this thread doesn't make me wish I got the briefcase. I want to be part of the club!

Folks:
I got this # on the bottom of my case:
This is the back cover of the novel the movie is based on:
Coincidence? Lucky? Did they make a bunch with this #?
Actually, my girl got me the set for my birthday. We both enjoyed the Final Cut at the theatre. She had the store put one aside and picked it up later. So no hand on our part in this.
She got me the book for Christmas... I thought there was something funny about that number, then it just hit me tonight. Went Googling around and here I am.
What do you think?

I've got a question for all you "club members" lol. For those who are using their case as a display, are you using the slipcover? I think it looks a lot better without it. However it will help to keep the scratches out. It's a tough call.
