Rocky: The Complete Saga Collection ----> 12/4/07

amazon.com has a listing for another The Complete Rocky Collection. It says that is a 6 disc set. I imagine that it has to be the Rocky 2 disc recent release with the other previously released 5 films.

These Rocky releases have to set some record for double dips.

Very cool. I knew there was a reason I kept holding off.

Why not call it the "6-pack" collection?

Already own the CE of the original and Rocky Balboa, not going to spend extra for the other 4 unless this set goes down to $15.

Balboa is owned by Sony and 1-5 are owned by Fox so it probably won't include Balboa. Also, I believe this was released in the UK all ready and there are NO special features, as usual.

I'll pass until the sequels get some kind of speacial treatment. I already have the original DVD box set AND the C.E. of "Rocky" AND "Rocky Balboa".

The fact that they are only including the single disc "Rocky" just leads me to believe that there will be another box set somewhere down the line.

This is ridiculous now. how many times can they release the same set (even though it includes RB). I had the first Rocky box set (with the red spine), sold that off to pick up the Anthology with the first one in dts and the A & E Stallone bio. Then they came out with the CE which I picked up for all the xtra features. Only way I'll sell of my Anthology and Rocky Balboa separate disc is if the first Rocky has all the extras from the CE and the DTS track.

I might pick this up, as I only have the original edition of Rocky, that I got for five dollars back in the day.

I know MGM has the rights to the Rocky films, but I thought Fox has video rights to 1-5 and Sony has video rights to Rocky Balboa. I guess they managed to work out an agreement for this set.

I will buy this out of spite for everyone who put it down! No seriously, I don't have any of the movies. I'll get this one for Christmas.

ive already got all the good ones imo, 1, 3 and 6.

so this set is pretty pointless.

if they did rerelease 3 and 6 on a 2-disc i would double dip

Having already double dipped on the box set previously, as well as the first Rocky release, I'll pass this time around.

Yeah, this is a GREAT set... if you don't already own the movies.

Yep, that's exactly what I did. This is ridiculous. I really want some special editions of the other films and Stallone himself has said he wants to do commentaries for the other 4 films. STOP RE-RELEASING MY FAVORITE SERIES OF MOVIES!!

Also, didn't realize that it said Balboa on the spine, so that makes it even worse that it's just the one disc Rocky. Boo!
