What double features would you like to see?

I searched for this thread and couldn't find it but I feel fairly confident it existed. In any case, I love the double-feature trend if only cause it is a great way to shrink the physical size of my collection.

Right now I'm hoping Warner Bros. does a Criminal/Welcome to Collinwood double feature, and I'd love to see double features containing The Goonies, Death to Smoochy, Being John Malkovich, The Negotiator and The Hudsucker Proxy. Also, it would be a long way off but I'm also kind of hoping Ferrara's Body Snatchers and The Invasion get stuck together.

I agree! My DVD collection has grown so much that I now need all the space I can get. Rights issues might prevent this, but I'd love to see an Incredible Shrinking Man/Incredible Shrinking Woman double-feature, if only because neither title has ever been released in R1. I'd also love to see a Stepfather/Stepfather 2/Stepfather 3 triple-feature, but again, that may not be possible, depending on who owns the rights to the various films.

I'm hoping for Dr Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine and Dr Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs, even though the latter is a stinker by all accounts.

Incredible Shrinking Man was on the First Sci Fi Collection from Universal that was exclusive to Best Buy. But you won't find it cheap these days.

True, I should have mentioned that. I actually bought that set when it first came out, but since I wasn't interested in the other four movies in the set, I sold mine on Amazon Marketplace when it started going for big bucks.

Howard The Duck/Pure Luck Universal double-feature. Both movies are Universal titles and remain unreleased on DVD and this gives them a chance to unload these titles on the cheap side and under the radar to. This double-feature works totally because these films are comedys.

I always said I wanted Analyze This/Analyze That and Whole Nine Yards/Whole Ten Yards, because they're all in snapper cases. I never heard of them being released, but I found them both in Wal-mart the other day. Unfortunetly I had already caved and bought all the snappers

I was writing down a list of upcoming titles so I could keep it in my wallet and look at it to see if there was anything I should be saving for when I am in a store, and I saw that those were coming out. Warner does their stuff right, too, all the bonus features are included...they're nice.

I love the double features too, I only wish the studios did this earlier as I own many of the titles individually.

Some I'd like:
Body Slam/No Holds Barred
Eddie & the Cruisers/Eddie & the Cruisers II: Eddie Lives
Triple Feature: Cannonball Run/Cannonball Run 2/Speed Zone

I would buy a Gremlins/Gremlins 2 double feature.

Might be awhile, but The Condemned/See No Evil seems like a possibility. Good Night, and Good Luck/Syriana as well. Deep Blue Sea deserves to be paired with something.

The Negotiator and A Time to Kill (Jackson/Spacey) sounds good to me.

I actually think Warner has a couple no-brainer double-features in Gremlins/Gremlins 2, Before Sunrise/Before Sunset. Young Guns 1 & 2 would also be a no-brainer DF but Warner only has YG2 and I believe Lions Gate has the rights to release Young Guns 1, so this will probably never happen. I also stand by the Pure Luck/Howard The Duck DF from Universal, both are comedys and have never been released on DVD. All these double-features I'd love to see happen.

Of all double features, I like Warner's the best. They're simple, they keep all the extras, and the cover art is cleanly designed. I just wish they hadn't screwed up the Mad Max double feature by doing it FS -- I would have bought that in a heartbeat.
